Last time, our hero Jason dinAlt met the mysterious Kerk Pyrrus. Having scammed a casino out of billions at Kerk's behest, they flee on a ship headed back to Kerk's home world, the inhospitable Pyrrus. Jason is intrigued by the idea that the humans who survive on 'Deathworld' may be physically superior to those born on any other human colony. He's about to arrive on Pyrrus and see for himself what mysteries it holds...
