Todays show we went through the macros and the crypto NFT market which was seeing some green. There are new collections seeing some activity and the solid collections are doing well also, all great signs.

Magic Eden, the NFT marketplace, announced that they are enabling 0% royalties on their platform. This sent the space into a frenzy and had every single person talking about it and giving their opinions. Our stage was no exception and we had one of the most amazing conversations surrounding the topic filled with passion, facts and great stances.

The CPI number came in above expectation leading to a general consensus of "oh crap". Stocks took a dive and crypto slipped a bit but is still surprisingly holding strong by comparison to the rest of the financial sector.

The macros are still quite bad, stocks are down to levels around early covid. Crypto has managed to sustain but the slightest bit of slippage has happened. NFT market didn't cause any title waves between episodes.

The macros have been more volatile than crypto lately and this is a repeated phrase on the show for days on end. There was also a healthy bit of news with the highlight being Japans announcement of their intent to venture into NFTs and the blockchain.

With no prior guest of the day, we had our favorite special guest, the community. The stage was full by the time we got into the main subject of the day, which was Hiring and employment in our space. There were lots of great points made and different perspectives shared on the different positions for a web3 project and the way that roles are created by the community.
