Jahan Berns is now the Director of Operations at JH Israel & U.S. Israel Education Association, but many years before that, she was risking her life on a daily basis as she journeyed the many miles to her Ugandan school with bullets flying overhead. After her father was shot and her family left destitute, Jahan had an encounter that changed the direction of her life. Jahan tells the story of her journey, from a war-plagued Uganda to where she is today.
