Back in August, allegations were made against Tampa Bay Rays shortstop of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor(s).

Now, details of the investigation are beginning to come to light.

Franco is expected to appear before a judge in the Dominican Republic on Friday, Jan. 5, 2023 -- after that country's authorities detained because he failed to show up to a summons.

Dominican prosecutors have accused Franco of commercial sexual exploitation and money laundering, according to the Associated Press.
