大家好，歡迎大家來收聽English Angel 在師大! 我是Angela老師! 這一季我們來學習正面的英文常用語，當你把英文正面用語融入你的學習中，你就能得到意想不到的好處。我們一起來用英語提升心情、建立信心、減低壓力、表達感恩心並且增強動力，讓學英文為自己帶來幸福與歡樂。
這一集我們挑幾個感謝大家的用語，要感謝別人，我們要認識一些常用的字彙，像是感激(appreciate)、 感謝(thankful)、幸運的(fortunate) 、感激 (gratitude)、滿足的(content) 等字。

(一)  appreciate (v.) 感激
感謝別人，用appreciate 這個動詞，記得我們感激人時，是感激他人為我們所做的事情，所以受詞會用事情，而不是用人當受詞，請看以下例句。
例句1:  I appreciate what you have done. 我非常感激你所做的事。就是I appreciate it very much.
例句2:  I appreciate your support. 我感激你的支持。
(二)  thankful (adj.) 感謝的
我們用這個形容詞時需要注意後面接的介係詞是for，所以是be thankful for 對…感激，後面可以加人當受詞，也可以加事情當受詞，並沒沒有限制。
例句1:  I am thankful for my family, friends, and colleagues. 我很感謝我的家人朋友和同事。
例句2:  I am thankful for my good health and wealth. 我很感謝我的健康和財富。
(三) fortunate (adj.) 幸運的  
奧斯卡頒獎時常常會聽到得獎者說I am fortunate to… 我很幸運… ，這個地方只要在fortunate (adj.)後面加上to have就可以當作有甚麼的意思。
例句1: I am fortunate to have a job that I enjoy. 我很幸運有一份我喜歡的工作。
例句2: I feel fortunate to have a healthy body and mind. 我覺得很幸運擁有健康的身體和心靈。
(四) gratitude (n.) 感激
用名詞gratitude去表示對某人某事的感激。  
例句1:  Please take this gift as a token of my gratitude. 請收下這個禮物作為我的感激。
例句2:  I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity. 對於這個機會，我充滿感激。be filled with 是充滿的意思。
(五) delighted (adj.) 愉悅的; 高興的   
如果我們想表達我很高興有…可以用I am delighted to have… 後面直接加你想要說的事情當受詞，一樣是在delighted(adj.) 的後面加上to have表示有什麼東西。
例句1: I am delighted to have your support. 我很高興有你的支持。
例句2: I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with you. 我很高興能有這個機會與你共事。
(六) be content with 很滿足的
這裡用content 作為形容詞，表示滿足的，介係詞的搭配是用with，所以be content with 要一起記起來，表示對某事感到滿足。
例句1: I am content with the blessings of the opportunity to learn and grow every day. 我很滿足能受到祝福有機會能夠每天學習和成長。
例句2: I am content with the blessings of a loving partner who supports me through life’s ups and downs.
我很滿足能受到祝福有一個親愛的夥伴支持我度過人生的起起伏伏。
