第四季第十集:  你知道 from the bottom of my heart, unwavering support, second chance, what goes around, comes around
大家好，歡迎大家來收聽English Angel 在師大! 我是Angela老師! 這一季我們一起學習正面的英文常用語，試著把英文的正面用語融入你的學習中，你就會得到意想不到的好處。
這一季的最後一集，我們來看回顧一下還有什麼感恩的話，可以把它們時時掛在心上，當自己覺得很忙碌很生氣甚至很沮喪時可以隨時拿起來用的感恩用語。
(一) 有人幫助你，你對別人說的感謝的話語
1. You have been very helpful. 你對我的幫助一直很大。
   *have been helpful 一直都很有幫助
2. For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  我真心的感謝你對我所做的。
   *from the bottom of my heart 由衷
3. Thank you so much for your help. It means a lot to me. 非常感謝你的幫忙。它對我意義重大。
   *mean a lot 意義非凡
4. I appreciate it - your help has made all the difference! 我很感激- 你的幫忙真的讓一切變得不一樣。
   *make all the difference 變得不一樣
5. I couldn't have done it without you, and I am forever grateful for your support. 我沒有你做不到，我用永遠感謝你的支持。 *without you 沒有你
6. Thank you for your unwavering support. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
謝謝你堅定的支持。我真心的感激。

(二) 心裡面常存在的感恩 (感謝宇宙中無形的力量)
1. I am grateful for what I have.  我很感激我所擁有的一切。
   *be grateful for 感激
2. I am grateful for second chances.  我很感激有第二次的機會。
   *second chance 第二次機會
3. I am thankful for this beautiful life.  我很感激這麼美麗的人生。
   *be thankful for 感激
4. I am thankful for the people in my life. 我很感謝我生命中的人。   
5. Thank you for always being there for me. 謝謝你總是在我身邊。
6. Thank you for your boundless love and support. 謝謝你無盡的愛和支持。
   *boundless love 無邊無際的愛

這一季的感恩主題，我要感謝我生活中的點滴起伏，和生命中短暫交錯的所有人，用我上課喜歡說的一句話: What goes around, comes around. 【去的都會回來的】，就是因果(Karma)就是種甚麼因，得什麼果，最後Angela引用史懷哲醫生生所說的一些話做結尾，期待我們都珍惜生命的每一天。

Whatever you give to life, it gives you back.  你給生活什麼，它就給你什麼。
Do not hate anybody. 不要恨任何人。
The hatred which comes out from you will someday come back to you. 從你身上發生的恨意，終將回到你身上。
Love others. And love will come back to you. 愛他人，愛會回到你身邊。

生氣或沮喪的時候，我們很容易忘記我們才是決定我們生活的主人，我們可以用正面的態度來表達我們的處境，以下有幾句表達用語可以讓你練習看正面的人生事物。
(一) My life is full of … 我的人生充滿…
例句1. My life is full of abundance and prosperity. *abundance (n.) 豐富  *prosperity (n.) 繁榮興盛
例句2. My life is full of blessings and gratitude. *blessings (n.) 祝福 *gratitude (n.) 感恩
例句3. My life is full of passion and purpose. *passion (n.) 熱情  *purpose (n.) 目的
(二) I am grateful for …. 我很感激
例句1. I am grateful for the blessings in my life. *be grateful for 感激
例句2. I am grateful for the kindness and generosity of others. *kindness (n.) 善意 *generosity (n.) 慷慨
例句3. I am grateful for the strength and resilience that carries me through tough times.
            *strength (n.) 力量 *resilience (n.) 韌性
(三) My life is filled with … 我的人生充滿…
例句1. My life is filled with joy and fulfillment. *joy (n.) 喜樂 *fulfillment (n.)完成; 實現
例句2. My life is filled with love, laughter and adventure. *laughter (n.) 歡笑  *adventure (n.) 冒險
例句3. My life is filled with positivity, optimism, and growth. *positivity (n.) 正向  *optimism(n.) 樂觀
 
(四) I am surrounded by …我被 …圍繞。
例句1. I am surrounded by inspiration and creativity. *inspiration (n.) 靈感 *creativity (n.) 創造力
例句2. I am surrounded by support and encouragement. *support (n.) 支持 *encouragement (n.) 鼓勵
例句3. I am surrounded by supportive friends and loving family. *supportive (adj.) 支持的 *loving (adj.) 愛的; 愛心的

這些表達方式能夠讓我們回想一下我們的幸運，看到自己的人生起起落落，如果還能往正面方向前進，相信大家都能越過越扎實。 有一本書(The Light in the Heart ) 作者Roy T. Bennett 說了以下的一段話: 
“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”

第四季第八集: 你知道positive mindset /embrace positivity/seek out positivity這些用語嗎?
大家好，歡迎大家來收聽English Angel 在師大! 我是Angela老師! 這一季我們一起學習正面的英文常用語，試著把英文的正面用語融入你的學習中，你就會得到意想不到的好處。
我們今天從一句名言來介紹今天的感恩用語: “We don't see the world as it is, we see it as we are” Anaïs Nin (阿內絲·尼恩)，這是一個美國作家所說的話，很有趣的一句話。她說我們沒有看到世界的本來樣貌，我們只是按照內心的想法去看這世界。很深奧但是很值得省思的一句話，也就是心境決定外境。
所以我們來看看如何把我們的思考導向正面的思考，把自己的焦點放在正面的事，用不同的想法應對周遭的事物，你我都做得到。
我們來看以下表達方式:
(一) I am focusing on… 我專注在…
例句1. I am focusing on the positive things. *positive things 正面的事
例句2. I am focusing on the bright side of things.  *bright side of things 正面的事
例句3. I am focusing on the blessings in my life. * blessings 祝福

(二) I am choosing to V 我選擇去做…
例句1. I am choosing to see the good in every situation. * see the good 看到美好事物
例句2. I am choosing to cultivate a positive mindset.  *cultivate a positive mindset 培養正面心態
例句3. I am choosing to embrace positivity. *embrace positivity 擁抱正面的東西
例句4: I am choosing to live a positive life.  *live a positive life 活出正面的生活
(三) I am thinking 我正在思考 
例句1. I am thinking positively.   *positively 正面地
例句2. I am thinking with a positive mindset.  *with a positive mindset 用正面的心態
例句3. I am thinking positively, focusing on solutions rather than problems. *solutions 解決方案
(四) I am training … to V 我訓練我的心態去做
例句1. I am training my mind to see the positive in all things. *see the positive 看正面的事
例句2. I am training to find the good in everything. *find the good 找到好的事
例句3. I am training myself to develop a habit of seeking out positivity.
   *develop a habit 培養一個習慣 *seek out positivity 找出正面事物

這一集我們來看看如何鼓勵讚美自己，用各種不同動詞表達自己進步了，正在朝著自己的理想邁進，有時我們會覺得卡住了，但是那不是讓我們放棄自己的夢想的一個藉口。我們來看一看如何用英文告訴自己正在往前邁進，正在進步正在努力追求自己的目標!
我們來看以下的:
(一) move forward toward 向前進/ take steps toward邁步向前/ make strides toward跨步向前   
例句1: I am moving forward toward my goal. 我正向我的目標前進。
例句2: I am taking steps toward my dreams. 我正往我的夢想邁步向前。　
例句3: I am making strides toward my dreams. 我正往我的夢想跨步向前。

(二) make progress進步/make steady progress穩健的進步/make incremental progress逐漸的進步
例句1: I am making progress toward my goals. 我正朝我的目標前進。
例句2: I am making steady progress toward my dreams. 我正穩定的朝我的夢想進步。
例句3: I am making incremental progress toward my desired outcome. 我正朝著我想要的結果逐漸進步

(三)　pursue 追求work toward 努力做 make … a reality 變成真實
例句1: I am pursuing my dreams. 我在在追求我的夢想。
例句2: I am working hard toward my dreams.我努力朝向我的夢想。
例句3: I am making my dreams a reality. 我要讓我的夢想成真。

(四) go after 追求　follow my passions 跟隨我的熱情　strive to 努力去
例句1: I'm going after my dreams, full steam ahead.
例句2: I’m on a mission to follow my passions. 我的任務是跟隨我的熱情。
例句3: I’m striving to achieve my dreams. 我努力達成我的夢想。
好的，以上這些句子可以替自己加油打氣，讓自己沉浸在正面的氛圍裡，尤其是有時候在追求夢想的時候，常常會有很多阻礙，所以有時難免會卡住，卡住的時候可以想想這一句話。
Feeling stuck is normal but it’s not an excuse to give up on your dreams.
覺得卡住了停滯不前是很正常的，但是那絕不是藉口讓你放棄你的夢想。

這一集我們來看看如何鼓勵讚美別人，用各種不同動詞和形容詞去表達別人值得愛或是快樂的肯定用語。 你準備好了嗎? 我們會學到值得(deserve to V)，值得(be worthy of) 環繞 (surround with)等等很實用的片語和常用的形容詞，這些都是鼓勵或讚美別人時需要的用語。
(一) deserve to V 值得
*deserve to + 主動用法
1. You deserve to pursue your dreams.  你值得去追求你的夢想。
   *pursue dreams 追求夢想
2. You deserve to live a great life. 你值得去過很棒的生活。
   *live a great life 過很棒的人生
3. You deserve to find joy in your life.  在你的人生裡，你值得去找到喜悅。

3. You deserve to surround yourself with positive people. 你值得讓正面的人圍繞在你的周圍。

*deserve to + 被動的用法
1. You deserve to be loved and happy. 你值得被愛和快樂。
   *be loved  被愛
2. You deserve to be treated well by others. 你值得被其他人很好地對待。
   *be treated 被對待
3. You deserve to be loved and respected. 你值得被愛和尊重。
    *be respected  被尊敬
4. You deserve to be valued for your contributions. 你值得因為你的貢獻被重視。
   *be valued 被重視
(二) be worthy of 值得
1. You are worthy of love and happiness. 你值得愛與快樂。
   *love and happiness 愛和快樂
2. You are worthy of respect and kindness. 你值得尊重和善意。

3. You are worthy of a life filled with joy. 你值得擁有充滿快樂的人生。

這一集我們來看看如何介紹這是很棒的一天，用各種不同語氣迎接新的一天來臨? 你準備好了嗎?
我們會學到很多用語，包含: 很期待(be eager to V) , 開始這一天(kick off the day), 有正面的人生觀(have a positive outlook), 將… 定調 (set the tone for) 等等很實用的片語，這些都是日常生活中不可或缺的元素。

今天和之前不同的介紹是用句型來歸類帶出常用的句子以描述美好的一天等著大家開始。
(一) I’m + adj. + prep. +….  我 + 感受  I’m + adj. +that +….
例句1: I’m eager to make the most of today. 我很期待/渴望充分的利用今天。
*make the most of …充分的利用 *be eager to 渴望的
例句2: I’m filled with hope for the day ahead. 我對於今天充滿了希望。
*be filled with 充滿了
例句3: I’m excited about what today will bring. 我很興奮今天會給我帶來什麼。
*be excited about 對…很興奮
例句4: I’m confident that today will be a good day. 我有信心今天會是個很棒的一天。
*be confident that … 有信心
(二) I’m + V-ing +…. 我正(感受) …
例句1: I’m feeling optimistic about today. 我覺得今天會很樂觀正面。
*feel optimistic about 對… 樂觀正面的
例句2: I’m looking forward to a positive day. 我很期待有正面的一天。
*look forward to 期待
例句3: I’m starting the day with a hopeful spirit. 我正以希望的精神開始今天。
*start the day 開始一天
例句4: I’m beginning the day with a smile on my face. 我臉上掛著笑容開始這一天。

(三) I + have + ….  我有
例句1: I have a positive outlook for today. 今天我有正確的人生觀。

例句2: I have an optimistic mindset to kick off the day. 我要用樂觀的思維模式開始這一天。

例句3: I have a feeling today is going to be a great day. 我有感覺今天是個很棒的一天。
例句4: I have a positive and happy mindset as I face today. 面對今天時，我有正面快樂的思維模式。

(四) I + believe + that + …. 我相信
例句1: I believe that today is going to be a great day. 我相信間天會是很棒的一天。
例句2: I believe that today is going to be a fulfilling day. 我相信今天是充實的一天。
例句3: I believe that a happy mindset sets the tone for the day. 我相信快樂的思維模式定調這一天。

這一集我們挑幾個形容詞，有能力復原的(resilient) 、足智多謀的(resourceful)、有決心的 (determined), 很擅長的(adept)和適應力強的(adaptable) 。

(1)  resilient (adj.) 很快回復的；有能力復原的
例句1: I know how to be happier and more resilient. 我知道如何能快樂些和適應力強一些。
例句2: I think everyone can learn to be resilient. It’s a skill that everyone can learn and develop.
我認為每個人都夠學習很快回復的。這是一種每個人都可以學習和發展的能力。
例句3: I’ve remained resilient, consistently bouncing back, and moving forward. 
我一直維持恢復力強的，一致地重振旗鼓不斷地向前進。

(2)  resourceful (adj.) 足智多謀的; 很能隨機應變的
例句1: She is the most resourceful person I have seen in my life. 她是我人生中見過最能隨機應變的人。
例句2: The ability to be resourceful is a crucial skill that can impact your success. 有能力可以隨機應變是一項很關鍵的技巧，這種技巧可以影響你的成功。
例句3: A resourceful person can see opportunities when others only see obstacles. 當其他的人只看到障礙時，足智多謀的人可以發現機會。
(3)  determined (adj.) 有決心的
例句1: She was determined to finish the project ahead of schedule.  她很有決心的把計畫超前完成。
例句2: Despite the difficulty, he was determined to maintain a positive attitude at work.
儘管困難，他還是決心在工作上面保持一個正面的態度。
例句3:If I you are determined to learn, no one can stop you. 如果你決心要學，沒有人可以阻止你。
(下一句: If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. 如果你不想學，沒有人能幫你。)這句話也講得太真切，太好了！　共勉之！　
(4)  adept (adj.) 擅長的; 內行的 ; 熟練的
例句1:  I am adept at mastering new skills and concepts. 我擅長學會新技巧和概念。
例句2:  I am adept at problem-solving and time management. 我很擅長問題解決和時間分配。
例句3: I am adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. 我很擅長和客戶建立和維持很穩固的關係。
(5)  adaptable (adj.)適應力強的
例句1: I am adaptable and flexible at work.  我在工作時有適應力和彈性。
例句2: I consider myself to be more adaptable than most people my age. 我認我自己比同齡的人適應力要強些。
例句3: Being adaptable helps me react positively to changes in my environment. 有適應力幫助我在我的環境中對於改變能正面地回應。

這一集我們挑幾個表現出自己相當自信的用法，有能力(be capable of)、有技術(have the skills)、有信心 (be confident in) 、準備好了(be up for)、具備所需的能力/具備所需要的條件(have what it takes)、足夠強大去(be strong enough to) 。
(1) be capable of 有能力 
例句1: I’m capable of achieving my goal. 我有能力達成我的目標。
例句2: I’m capable of handling a challenging situation. 我有能力處理挑戰性的狀況。
例句3: I’m capable of learning quickly and taking on new challenges. 我有能力學習很快和接受新挑戰。
(2) have the skills 具備技能
例句1: I have the skills in communication and problem solving. 我有溝通和解決問題的技能。
例句2: I have the skills to manage projects from start to finish. 我有從頭到尾處理案子的技能。
例句3: I have the skills to effectively identify customer needs and close deals. 我有有效確認客人需求和成交的技能。
(3) be confident in 有信心
例句1: I’m confident in my ability to complete this task. 我有信心有能力可以完成此項任務。
例句2: I’m confident in my ability to meet tight deadlines. 我有信心有能力可以在嚴格的期限內完成。
例句3: I’m confident in my ability to maintain a high level of productivity. 我有信心有能力可以維持高水準的生產力。
(4) be up for 準備好了
例句1: I’m up for new challenge. 我準備好迎接新挑戰。

(5) have what it takes 有能力/有所有需要的條件
例句1: I have what it takes to handle challenging situations. 我有處理挑戰性情況的能力。

這一集我們挑幾個感謝大家的用語，要感謝別人，我們要認識一些常用的字彙，像是感激(appreciate)、 感謝(thankful)、幸運的(fortunate) 、感激 (gratitude)、滿足的(content) 等字。

(一)  appreciate (v.) 感激
感謝別人，用appreciate 這個動詞，記得我們感激人時，是感激他人為我們所做的事情，所以受詞會用事情，而不是用人當受詞，請看以下例句。
例句1:  I appreciate what you have done. 我非常感激你所做的事。就是I appreciate it very much.
例句2:  I appreciate your support. 我感激你的支持。
(二)  thankful (adj.) 感謝的
我們用這個形容詞時需要注意後面接的介係詞是for，所以是be thankful for 對…感激，後面可以加人當受詞，也可以加事情當受詞，並沒沒有限制。
例句1:  I am thankful for my family, friends, and colleagues. 我很感謝我的家人朋友和同事。
例句2:  I am thankful for my good health and wealth. 我很感謝我的健康和財富。
(三) fortunate (adj.) 幸運的  
奧斯卡頒獎時常常會聽到得獎者說I am fortunate to… 我很幸運… ，這個地方只要在fortunate (adj.)後面加上to have就可以當作有甚麼的意思。
例句1: I am fortunate to have a job that I enjoy. 我很幸運有一份我喜歡的工作。
例句2: I feel fortunate to have a healthy body and mind. 我覺得很幸運擁有健康的身體和心靈。
(四) gratitude (n.) 感激
用名詞gratitude去表示對某人某事的感激。  
例句1:  Please take this gift as a token of my gratitude. 請收下這個禮物作為我的感激。
例句2:  I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity. 對於這個機會，我充滿感激。be filled with 是充滿的意思。
(五) delighted (adj.) 愉悅的; 高興的   
如果我們想表達我很高興有…可以用I am delighted to have… 後面直接加你想要說的事情當受詞，一樣是在delighted(adj.) 的後面加上to have表示有什麼東西。
例句1: I am delighted to have your support. 我很高興有你的支持。
例句2: I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with you. 我很高興能有這個機會與你共事。
(六) be content with 很滿足的
這裡用content 作為形容詞，表示滿足的，介係詞的搭配是用with，所以be content with 要一起記起來，表示對某事感到滿足。
例句1: I am content with the blessings of the opportunity to learn and grow every day. 我很滿足能受到祝福有機會能夠每天學習和成長。
例句2: I am content with the blessings of a loving partner who supports me through life’s ups and downs.
我很滿足能受到祝福有一個親愛的夥伴支持我度過人生的起起伏伏。

第一集我們挑幾個祝福大家幸運Good luck的用語，要祝福別人，我們要認識一些常用的字彙，像是幸運(luck)、正面氣氛 (good vibes)、運氣(fortune) 、祝你好運(break a leg)。
(一) 用luck 來表示祝福
我們可以用luck 在一般日常生活的場合， 有人要參加考試，要面試、或是要開始一個新案子，或是展開人生的不同里程，或是要進行手術都可以用luck這個字。
例句1: I wish you best of luck. 我祝你好運。
例句2: Best of luck to you! 祝你好運。
那這種輕鬆、隨性的方式也可用Best of luck to you!
例句3: Good luck with everything! 一切都順利!
我們也可以用luck和加上everything這樣是不是蠻順的，就變成Good luck with everything. 祝一切都順利。這是一種很友善、正面的表達用語，我們這樣說時後，就能夠讓聽到的人得到我們對他們的鼓勵、或者是支持或祝福。
(二) work out 發展、發生
例句1: I hope everything works out for you. 我希望一切都發展的順利。
例句2: I hope everything works out in your favor. 我希望一切都發展的順利。
用favor 表示幫助或是有利，用in your favor 就是對你有幫助有利。
(三) fortune 運氣、財富
例句1: May fortune favor you. 希望好運眷顧你。用favor是對你有好處、有利於，另外，我們用May 是希望什麼事情發生，May +名詞 + 動詞 。May love surround you. 希望愛包圍你。
例句2: May you have good luck and good fortune. 希望你有好運發生。
用May you +動詞… 來祝福別人。 May you have a wonderful day. 祝你一天順利。
(四) best 最棒的
例句1: All the best to you. 萬事如意、一切順利。
例句2: Wishing you all the best. 希望你萬事如意、一切順利。
(五) fingers crossed 祝好運(手指交叉)
我們可以用fingers crossed 來代表祝別人好運，這個的起源應該是跟基督教有相關，因為十字架可以驅魔與趕走壞運，我們的手指(食指與中指)交叉時很像十字架，因而變成祝你幸運的意思。
例句1: Fingers crossed for you. 祝你好運。
例句2: I will keep my fingers crossed. 祝你好運。
這兩句話用fingers crossed 就很好想像是在替別人祈求好運，也就是祝別人好運喔。
(六) Break a leg. 祝好運
從這句話的字義break a leg (斷一條腿)看起來很難想像這是祝人好運，不過如果知道典故就會知道這是好的意思。有一說break a leg 是源自於舞台劇圈中的用語，也是大家的迷信，如果表演時希望別人good luck 怕會招來bad luck，所以就講反話，break a leg (斷一條腿)。所以演變到後來這就變成是祝福的話。
例句1: Break a leg, everyone! Let's give the audience a great show. 祝大家好運，讓我們給觀眾一場很棒的表演。
例句2: Break a leg and let’s win this game. 祝好運，讓我們贏得這場比賽。
(七) good vibes 好的運氣
例句1: Sending good vibes your way. 祝你好運。
例句2: I am sending good vibes your way. 我祝你好運。
