Sam McGovern is a 22-year-old Perth-based singer-songwriter and guitarist. He studied at the Western Australian academy of performing arts. He’s a previous "The Voice" Australia contestant. He toured Australia playing shows around the country. In the last 2 weeks, Sam has gained over 100,000 combined followers on social media platforms including TikTok Instagram, and YouTube. In that time he’s also had an extremely large jump in Monthly listeners. Ash is an emerging fashion designer based in Perth, Australia. She was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Ipswich, UK, where she developed a love for fashion design. Ash's inspiration comes from her mother, who studied textile design at university, and she modeled her mother's final year designs as a child. This sparked her interest in fashion design and she pursued it seriously at college in the UK, where she graduated in 2018. In late 2019, Ash applied to Tafe and recently graduated with an advanced diploma in Fashion Design and Merchandising.  Ash's fashion line, Ashley Maria fashion, is focused on diversity and re-representation and aims to spread awareness about worldwide social issues. The collection showcases a high-end streetwear look and uses recycled and reworked denim patterns, as well as bold stencil fonts.  Ash has lived in three different countries, and each has had a significant impact on her and her work. She credits Tafe with helping her to gain the skills and experience she needed to succeed in the fashion industry, and believes that she would not be doing fashion if she had not moved to Perth.

Khail is a Perth-based tattoo artist. Khail’s style is influenced by Japanese art, graffiti culture, realist portraiture, hand lettering, vigilante characters, and anti-establishment culture. Khail grew up in Rockingham both his parents are artists so he was subconsciously influenced by art at a young age. Going to school Khail drew on books, his friends, and their clothing or shoes. Khail has been represented at many national tattoo conventions and won an array of awards at tattoos including best realism tattoo, tattoo of the day, best black and grey, and best color but I feel like awards don’t begin to represent Khail’s talent. In this episode, we’re going to dive deeper into Khail’s story, background, inspiration, and goals for the future.
