Dilmun, the ancient paradise of Mesopotamian mythology. Described in Sumerian texts as a land of purity, abundance, and divine favor, Dilmun was linked to legends such as the Epic of Gilgamesh and the myth of Enki and Ninhursag. However, historical records suggest Dilmun was also a real trade hub, likely corresponding to present-day Bahrain.
