I had read this book series and was a fan already, but Hammersmith does an excellent job at portraying the struggle Joanne has with her "humanity." Exciting adventure story with love and intrigue through the David character. I enjoyed it and would listen to more.

Very entertaining!

I love Sci-fi romances and this audiobook is a prime example of how to write a good one! The character of Vall is a unique and thought-provoking one, while the heroine Will is a strong female leader who looks beyond what her eyes see. I loved the books conclusion and the narration was very well done!

Good Space opera with a story that was different.

This is the second book I've read by this author. I really liked both stories and found that book and this one quite different. It wasn't like your typical alien needs human women stories. In that I found the story different and refreshing. I didn't give it a solid 5 because I would have liked to see more development and growth in Vall and a deeper connection between Vall and Will besides the fact that he needs her. You'll learn why as you read the story.

Audrey does a good job of narrating and using different tones and voices. Overall I didn't quite enjoy is as much as the other book, but it was an interesting read. I have added this author to my list of buys. I like how unusual her stories are.

Absolutely love love loved this book!

I wish it was longer but then it probably wouldn't be as good as it is. A perfect blend for sci-fi and romance! Did I mention that I love this book?

Hot Hot Hot.. Not safe for driving to work

Good with his Hands was a deliciously sinful book. It is a very quick listen but not one that I would recommend for a drive to work. This is definitely one listen that needs to wait until you have some extra time due to the caliente factor. The narrator, Suzy Lexington did a delectable job keeping up the heat with Max and Teresa.

Teresa is getting an eyeful of some man candy when the book starts. Max is the auto tech working on her car and providing all sorts of nibbling thoughts for Teresa. Things progress very quickly for the both of them.

Max and Teresa spend some very quality time together, including some at the old Ghost Town. In the ghost town there is a legend of a miner that still haunts the place. During their escapades in the town, they maybe have just run into the miner.

Looks like Max and Teresa are going to have to spend some more hot, steamy, and splendid time together.

a hot quickie :)

A very short audio with hot sexy scenes and a touch of paranormal. Teresa and Max have the instant chemistry that turns their fling to a maybe HEA hinted at the end. The naughty ghost was a great addition. Loved Suzy Lexington's voice, perky and exciting, but it needs a bit more differentiation between the character voices. A few more pauses between scenes would help to separate them, I had to rewind a few times, the change was so sudden.

Nice, hot short with a ghostly intervention. Theresa Kelly is on assignment to photograph ghost towns, unfortunately, (or not); her car breaks down and has to be repaired in a small town in AZ. The mechanic, Max Draper is uber hot and she is instantly very attracted to him. Max is on board with this and a one night stand seems like a great idea, but one is not enough.

Short and Kinda Sweet!

I've listened to the several books in this series and the others are decent but this one is my least favorite so far.

Listening to a lot of PNR, you come across books where the female characters are weak but in this story, the leading female character named Liberty, got on my nerves.

I like these books because they are decent and fairly short. I do plan on listening to the rest of the books in the series.

Another Time Walker hit!

Of Vice and Virtue is book three of the Time Walker series.

I very much enjoyed this installment of the story. I like how we got into the heads of more characters on a more equal basis, hearing more from Makedewa, Benjamin, Rebecca, and new arrival Jora.

I like the direction the story is moving in, and the growth of the characters. Makedewa is coming to see there is more to life than his hatred, and Benjamin is struggling to come to grips with the 'sins' of his mistakes. Rebecca has blossomed into a strong, wise young woman who is learning about life's pleasures as well as its pain and plain survival. Jora...she is a complicated character, and I look forward to learning more about her motives and history. Can Benjamin really trust her?

E.B. Brown continues to spin a spectacular tale, set in this intriguing world of the Time Walkers. Given the teaser at the end for the next installment, I can't wait to read "A Tale of Oak and Mistletoe."

Was ok , really liked the others earlier, though did like fact that same people from before in this one too and then new ones added .

AN EXCELLENT CONTINUATION OF THE SERIES

Although this was a novella, the story still grabbed me and held my interest to the last page. The focus in this 3rd book is on the secondary characters and Ms. Brown skillfully developed them to the point that the reader feels like she personally knows them. Benjamin has left the Norse and Indian settlement and moved into an English settlement where he is working "undercover" so to speak, to fulfill his sworn duty to protect the blooded MacMhaolian.

I highly recommend this series and can't wait for the next book.

I bounce between being happy, sad and frightened for the characters

The characters, in this 3rd book of the series, took such different directions than I expected. It kept me completely enthralled, and I couldn't put it down. I read it in one day and started the on the 4th, because I needed to see what would happen next. I bounce between being happy, sad and frightened for the characters. Though we think of that period as simpler times, I don't think we truly realize how difficult they were until we read something like this. This has been an eye opening series, and I am very impressed with E. B. Brown's knowledge of the era.

Ever since her brothers sickness, Princess Kirit, aka Kit, has been forced to take on the role of Crown Princess. Unfortunately, she doesnt fit in. As a child, she spent more time with the animals in the stable and learning how to swordfight than running a country. One fateful evening, when all of the Crown Princes and Princesses are visiting for a ball, the Prince of Antor, Prince Andric kidnaps all of them and takes them back to his kingdom. Right as they get there, an avalanche occurs, and the group is forced to spend winter in Antor until the mountain pass clears. As time passes, Kit finds herself getting chummy with the princes and princesses as well as Andric. She also discovers that she likes the people of Antor and, like them, can talk to animals. As she comes of age and grows up, she saves the kingdom and its people a couple times over. When spring comes, however, the people of Antor will have to leave their homeland due to lack of resources. Determined to find a solution for everyone, Kit begins writing home. Although her brother is getting better, her parents are stubbornly not listening to Kits pleas to take some of Antors people in. Narrator, Michele Carpenter is a unique, funny, entertaining narrator ideally suited for this book. Her unique voices for the character bring to life their personalities. Although the narration was a little slow at the beginning, it picked up and here transitions were smooth. The plot is a little predictable, but enjoyable. The characters are well-developed and the dynamic that grows between them is amazing and engaging. Readers who like fantasy, adventure, and a little bit of romance will enjoy listening to this book.

The audio version of Thief Prince is fantastic! It is a YA fantasy adventure, with a side story about how love conquers all. It was very easy to slip into the story and escape my dull commute to work while listening to it.

Thief Prince starts off when the heroine, Kit, agrees to be the heir of her kingdom after her brother is too sick to do so. Soon after, Kit is "kidnapped" by Andric, the Prince of Antor, who wants Kit and other royals he has taken to experience the devastation his country is experiencing at the hands of the other kingdoms over the course of one winter.

and love. I don't know how to express myself

If I had to choose 3 words epitomizing this story, I'd go for: maturity, intensity, and love. I don't know how to express myself, other than I loved this book. It had a very full, very believable, layered plotline. The romance was through the roof! Such intensity, it had! Such believability! The best aspects of the book were romance intensity, broken characters, a vampire story, a cop story, and true love. I would put this book on my top 5 list of intense romances. The only thing a little negative for me was keeping up with the layered police briefing, but I think I kept up pretty well! Phenomenal book!

3.5 stars - I liked it ok

This was a well written book and was pretty fast paced and I liked both protagonists well enough but I thought the sex scenes went on a bit too long. Dint get me wrong, I like a well written sex scene but sometimes they go on longer than they should. I'm not sure really what it was that didn't make this a five star book for me, because it was well done. Maybe just this particular story with the rib and the agency and all that just didn't seem that exciting or real for me like some stories can. I'm not even sure I will read on in this series, but it is a good book and maybe you will like it better than I did. I guess we can't love them all lol

Awesome book! Super HOT too!

I'm ashamed to admit I don't normally write reviews. Mainly because I'm a terrible writer but also because I can never express how I really felt about the book. It really isn't fair to the authors who've worked so hard. I learned my lesson not to listen to most reviews either because I don't always agree. After all a review is just one person's opinion.

So, here is my opinion... I totally LOVED this book! There is so much room in this new world that V painted of vampires and ???. I think this series could go on forever. I hate reading a book or watching a movie thinking I know who the bad guys or good guys are even before we find out.
