Diva Hall of Fame by Party Favorz

This Dance Music entry in the Diva Hall of Fame (2018) honors Dolly Parton with a set of remixes and extended edits that reframe her country-pop classics for the club. Party Favorz assembled versions that span tropical, disco, arena and tougher house treatments to show how Dolly’s songwriting and voice translate across electronic styles.

Highlights include Kygo’s take on “Jolene,” a disco-styled “Baby I’m Burnin’,” Chris’ disco mix of “Downtown,” Mark Kamin’s harder “Walking on Sunshine,” Boy Wunder’s “Two Doors Down,” and Junior’s expansive “Peace Train” Arena Anthem. The selection keeps Dolly’s melodies and storytelling front and center while letting producers stretch tempos and textures for peak-floor moments.

More than a tribute to individual remixes, this episode argues that Dolly’s cultural reach and longstanding support for LGBTQ communities help explain why remixers keep returning to her catalog. Party Favorz inducts Dolly into the Diva Hall of Fame with affection and respect.

House music, Diva Hall of Fame entry, 2018 — this two-hour tribute set surveys Jocelyn Brown’s career from disco session work to peak-time house and NRG. The mix foregrounds Brown’s storied vocal legacy and points out the late-’80s club cut “Love’s Gonna Get You,” whose hook was famously repurposed in Snap!’s early-’90s hit “The Power.”

Expect extended club versions and definitive remixes across the set: Ben Liebrand’s DMC take on “Somebody Else’s Guy,” David Morales’ 12" mix of “Always There,” Jamie Lewis’s Nu Flava edit, Tee’s Freeze and Original mixes, plus Warren Clarke and Full Intention reworks. The selection moves from soulful disco through uplifting NRG to peak-hour house, highlighting why Brown’s voice has been sampled and celebrated for decades.

Running 2:11:08, this mix collects club-ready arrangements and longtime favorites like “Love’s Gonna Get You” (SanFranDisko Mix) and Morales’ tribute mix of “You Are Everything,” presented as a concise DJ-friendly homage to one of dance music’s most sampled vocalists.

House music, The Diva Series, 2017 — this Thank You Mix is a year-end tribute built as a note of gratitude to the Party Favorz community and a celebration of Whitney Houston’s dancefloor legacy. Compiled to welcome 2018, the set favors classic club versions over newer, less inspired reworks, resulting in a focused 1 hour 40 minute journey that aims to keep the emotional core of Whitney’s songs intact while serving the floor.

Highlights include powerful reworks by Hex Hector, Thunderpuss, Barry Harris, Jonathan Peters, and Tony Moran, with a nod to the Deborah Cox duet on “Same Script, Different Cast.” The compiler replaced tentative recent remixes with proven club versions from “I Will Always Love You” through “Greatest Love Of All,” editing the sequence for flow and technical polish. If you prefer an alternate take, the original 2009 Whitney tribute remains available, but this edition is intended as a streamlined, dance-ready thank-you for supporters as we step into 2018.

EDM/House tribute, Diva Hall of Fame — 2017 — revisits Madonna’s Erotica/SEX era with contemporary club remixes and a handful of remastered originals. This mix was assembled as a dancefloor-facing salute to one of pop’s most provocative chapters, translating the record’s darker textures back into peak-time mixes for DJs and focused listeners alike.

Highlights include fresh treatments by Sartori, Division 4, Deeptrak, Lukesavant, and Dave Audé alongside a classic Deep Dish nod. Standout reworks push Vogue, Justify My Love, Deeper and Deeper, Ray of Light, and Erotica into modern house, trance, and club territory without losing the original’s confrontational edge.

Curated by a longtime fan, the set balances nostalgia with utility: remixes designed to slot into contemporary DJ sets and remastered originals that still hold up. It’s a respectful, dance-oriented reflection on how Madonna’s late‑80s and early‑90s provocations helped bring underground club sensibilities into the mainstream.

House music, Diva Hall of Fame, 2017 — this reissue revisits Party Favorz’s original 2009 Annie Lennox induction with fresh remasters and careful re‑EQing. The set was brightened and de‑hissed to sit better in modern club contexts while preserving peak structure, and it leans on a mix of authorized club treatments and inventive bootlegs to present a cohesive portrait of Lennox’s solo and Eurythmics-era work. The compiler notes a few fan-favorite official remixes were omitted in favor of flow and consistency.

Highlights include a Shanghai Surprise take on Pavement Cracks, the GriDo bootleg of 17 Again, and an emotive IceColdBoyz version of No More I Love You's, alongside club staples such as Steve Angello’s Sweet Dreams and Peter Rauhofer’s A Thousand Beautiful Things. Tony Moran’s Into The West 2005 and David Morales-style house energy thread through the sequence, giving the mix both classic and contemporary dancefloor appeal. Enjoy a respectful re‑induction of Annie Lennox into the Diva Hall of Fame.

This is a dance-oriented Diva Hall of Fame birthday mix for Madonna, 2017 — a two‑hour celebration built from bootlegs and reworks aimed at today’s club floors.
