EPISODE 41 - DANA YOUNG
Dana Young grew up in an interfaith household in Queens, NY and was introduced by friends and neighbors to cultural and spiritual practices from all over the world. Dana was originally attracted to Reiki practice because of an abiding interest in Eastern spirituality, specifically Zen Buddhism.
Dana has been practicing Reiki since 2006 and owns Dragonfly Reiki in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a fully qualified Shihan or teacher of Komyo Reiki Do, and a direct student of Hyakuten Inamoto, a Japanese Buddhist monk and the founder of this system. Dana is also certified as a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui System for Natural Healing through her teacher, Brad Dixon. She is a certified life coach with additional seminary-level training in spiritual formation and direction.

Nathalie Jaspar, the founder of Dive Into Reiki, is a Reiki master with over a decade of experience. She’s a graduate teacher from the International House of Reiki, led by world-renowned Reiki master Frans Stiene. She also trained with the Center for True Health and the International Center for Reiki. To gain an even deeper understanding of Reiki practice, Nathalie went to Japan to practice Zen Buddhism at the Chokai-san International Zendo. She is the author of Reiki as a Spiritual Practice: an Illustrated Guide and the Reiki Healing Handbook (Rockridge Press).
