EPISODE 47 - PATRICK SUEN
Patrick Suen is 6-dan Iaido practitioner/sensei and a 3-dan Kyudo practitioner (Japanese archery).
He is the founder and head instructor of Tokushikai Canada (Toronto & Ottawa) and has been practicing martial arts for over 19 years. He has been a member of the Canadian Kendo Federation’s Board of Directors since 2014, and currently serving as national secretary.
Patrick has been an active contributor to the Canadian and International Iaido community, having (co)founded many events and initiatives, including the CDN National Championships, the CKF Womens’ Iaido Seminar and Women in Budo Exhibition, the Team Canada Iaido and the Tokushikai Inside Look Podcast, Patrick is also a 12-time medalist in competition within the Americas.

Nathalie Jaspar, the founder of Dive Into Reiki, is a Reiki master with over a decade of experience. She’s a graduate teacher from the International House of Reiki, led by world-renowned Reiki master Frans Stiene. She also trained with the Center for True Health and the International Center for Reiki. To gain an even deeper understanding of Reiki practice, Nathalie went to Japan to practice Zen Buddhism at the Chokai-san International Zendo. She is the author of Reiki as a Spiritual Practice: an Illustrated Guide and the Reiki Healing Handbook (Rockridge Press).
