The ever increasing federal debt continuous to dominate the political scene as well as the minds of our politicians. The Obama care is also being challenge as possibly could contribute to the deficit and the government is trying to find ways of cutting the deficit. There are many so called deficit reduction programs being considered in both aisles of the political system, both Democrats and Republicans. We have never been so divided in history as now. But yet, are we really looking at the right solution to our financial problems? We cannot just cut costs at the expense of certain sector of our society. We should adopt a preventative healthcare system that is truly preventative in that it will address the causes of illnesse at its roots, not just elimnating the symptom or manifestation. Acupuncture and other complementary medical practices like hypnotherapy, offers a true preventative approach. This will in the long run not only help cure illnesses, but also make the population healthier, happier and more productive. This is one of the best ways to improve our econmy by making people healthier. This will result in increase productivity, improvement in lifestyle, improving the mental health and outlook of our people and create a more peaceful society.
