SCHD is one of the best dividend growth ETFs and it is very popular amongst dividend investors, and rightfully so. SCHD offers a very attractive dividend yield and has a history of above average dividend growth. On top of this it has rivaled the capital appreciation of the S&P 500 when measured on total return. In November of last year I launched my 4 factor dividend growth portfolio built on a modified SCHD stock selection process. The portfolio got off to a nice start, outpacing the S&P 500 by 7.66% in November. In December it added 0.28% to this outperformance. January and February saw some of the alpha disappear but we are back on track in March.
