In this episode, I continue my discussion of the Step 1 Free 120.I make tons of integrations here with anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, biostatistics, and other relevant subjects. The PDF for the relevant free 120 is attached to the first part of this series (Ep 580). I also conclude with a life lesson on knowledge, understanding, and wisdom and how this may be relevant to test taking and patient care.

In this podcast, I begin working through the currently available USMLE Step 1 Free 120. This will be a very HY series with lots of integration and learning. For anyone that has listened to similar podcasts for the Step 2 Free 120 and the Step 3 Free 137, you know that there’s a lot I discuss here including testing principles. For those taking Step 2 and 3, strongly consider doing the Step 1 Free 120 for extra practice and listening to this series as the lines between the USMLEs are now heavily blurred with Step 1 being very clinical these days.

In this podcast, I discuss the comprehensive Step 2/3 review that will be held from June 2-13, 2025 (5-10 pm EST each evening over zoom except weekends). The class will be incredibly comprehensive, cover content in sound contextual fashion, make you extremely comfortable with NBME testing principles and challenges, and significantly elevate your critical thinking/reasoning with NBME questions. It’s a one of a kind class and you will learn so much, so well. Email me via the website to register. It’s only going to be held once this year, spots are limited, and signups are solely on a first come, first serve basis.

This podcast is an oddball podcast. But it also happens to be one of my highest yield podcasts. I discuss how NBME Qs differ materially from Qbank Qs. Understanding this can really help with guiding your study and test taking processes. Certainly a helpful listen for any USMLE exam taker.
