Dr. Corinna Hughes, DNP, APRN obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN, 2015) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP, 2020) degrees from the University of Kentucky. Throughout her DNP pursuit, she concurrently worked as a full-time ICU nurse at a level 3 trauma center, honing her clinical skills and experience. To further enhance her knowledge and expertise, she completed the Mayo Clinic Advanced Practice Provider Urology Fellowship. This specialized training has broadened her understanding of various male and female urological conditions. In her current role, she performs procedures such as cystoscopies, MRI-fusion transperineal prostate biopsies, and PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation). She is passionate about urologic care and has had the privilege to share her insights and experiences at regional and national conferences, specifically focusing on the role of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in urology.
