From diaries to disturbing videos, the evidence paints a grim picture of the abuse inflicted upon Franke's children and the religious fervor that allegedly fueled it.

Franke, alongside her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt, faced charges related to the aggravated abuse of Franke's children, a case that unfolded with shocking revelations and subsequent legal action.

In the newly released documents, prosecutors underscore the role of "religious extremism" as a driving force behind the abuse perpetrated by Franke and Hildebrandt.
