Arizona State Sun Devils football was dealt a brutal blow when star wide receiver Elijhah Badger opted to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. Badger had been the Sun Devils top-dawg out wide for two seasons and with a transition at quarterback coming to transfer redshirt Sam Leavitt, his departure was tough to accept. However, the Sun Devils' depth at wide receiver could help the program overcome Badger's departure. It starts with Jordyn Tyson, who appears primed to break out as a star for Arizona State. Accompanying him are veterans Troy Omeire, Melquan Stovall, and Jake Smith. This group of four can complement each other wonderfully if everything goes according to plan. There are some younger receivers to look for as well with Korbin Hendrix and Kaleb Black. Factor in some more veterans like Xavier Guillory and Coben Bourguet and the room feels good enough to survive... but the pressure is certainly on.
