Stacy and Eric record over Zoom this week since Stacy is exploring vortexes in Sedona while dog sitting for her friend’s dog Vera. Eric shares some tips since his dog Gertie has made him an old pro! Eric watched Conclave and they both agree it deserves two thumbs up; Eric was especially impressed with the sets while Stacy mooned over Ralph Fiennes. Stacy’s talks about her most recent binge watch on Netflix, American Murder: Gabby Petito, a case Eric knows nothing about (cultural blind spot much?). Finally they get to the topic at hand and like the classic sidekick he is, Eric does all the heavy lifting while Stacy flies all over the place. Since Stacy and Eric don’t talk about the state of the world on DAMTT, naturally the conversation turns to oatmeal - Eric loves it for breakfast while Stacy enjoys it (without the raisins) as a cookie. The health talk continues with the saga of the treadmill eight years in the making before turning to valentine’s day; is Eric a Valentine baby? While discussing their Cultural Blindspots, Stacy shares she watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels while Eric went further back having watched Shampoo. They SAVE the best for last SPENDing the rest of the show to discuss this week’s topic. Follow DAMTT on Facebook and Instagram @dontaskmetotalk. Stacy and Eric start the episode with some follow up from past episodes; but HOLD please, first they need to talk about Muzak, weepy dentist office music, the hunky-dancer-guy-with-a-dog movie, and fish tanks. They also workshop ideas for dentist office ceiling distractions and ponder why Oral B and not A? The episode is filled with convo bombs including Eleanor Rigby and Stitch as Elvis. Speaking of iconic performers, Eric talks about Battersea’s recent show. Somehow Canadian snack talk leads to a Gilbert Godfrey impression and talk about Dill Pickles. Hear me out, it’s a fun episode! Follow DAMTT on Facebook and Instagram @dontaskmetotalk. Email us at [email protected] Next time: Spend or Save

DAMTT: Posters
Stacy and Eric start the show by shamelessly pleading for listener engagement (shout out to A Nano Miss) before diving right into their segment Cultural Blindspots in which they talk about binge watching Younger and Severance, catching on to shows like 1680 and Baby Reindeer and the ridiculousness of Bond films like, You Only Live Twice. The only thing more ridiculous might be Thomas Crapper Day which means Stacy and Eric MUST talk about it. The Wheel dictates they discuss college posters and posters in general which is how Stacy and Eric come to the realization posters are old timey memes! This episode begins with no introduction as Stacy’s only willing to commit to “ok” while Eric finds himself in the “in-between.” Today Herve Villechaize lives on, Stacy shares her word of the year (spoiler: something Beethoven would be proud of) and Eric talks Stacy off the edge about a 21yo coworker not knowing Bob Dylan. He also makes a potentially controversial statement about the mustache sported by Court Orlok (will people write in??). They eventually chat about tattoos and only conclude the tides have turned completely on this trend; they’re not just for sailors anymore. Follow DAMTT on Facebook and Instagram @dontaskmetotalk. Once upon a time we didn’t think we were going to make it past the year 2000, yet here we are!
Eric’s resolution is toothy, and Stacy’s word of the year is TBD. To celebrate
the new year Eric hung out with the young and sexy people while Stacy worked
leaving her feeling old and grouchy. To help with their collective goal of
reading, Stacy and Eric take a very scientific Buzzfeed quiz which ends as it
starts with skepticism. Before finally tackling this week’s topic, “the talk,”
they discuss neuticles which is just nuts! Follow DAMTT on Facebook and

The Convo Kids are on a break this week so to tide you over until next week we bring you an encore of a Stacy Connects episode you might have missed when it first dropped.
This episode is essentially a mash up of Don’t Ask Me to Talk (DAMTT) and STACY CONNECTS. It starts with the story of Coal versus a bobcat in which Coal loses 4 lives at once. Stacy’s -Ism is about curiosity, while Eric shares one about how, “sometimes things are better.” After an icebreaker (inspired by DAMTT’s Wheel O’ Topics) Stacy and Eric go into full DAMTT mode. Eric lets his feelings about marriage show and shares his go-to ice cream treat while Stacy recalls an incident with a melted gum cigar. They end discussing whether they’re morning people or night owls follow DAMTT on Instagram and Facebook @dontaskmetotalk

DAMTT: Two Lies and a Truth (or is it the other way? )
On this Boxing Day and Crystymas edition of DAMTT, the Convo Kids take you on a journey through topics that include (but are not limited to) The Holidays and their aftermath, Stacy's Christmas movie marathon, what's more depressing Charlie Brown's Christmas or Black Mirror? Listen in to find out if Eric is related to Gerald Ford or if Stacy went to the premiere of Jerry Maguire.

DAMTT: Cereal Talk
Although Stacy and Eric are stocking-deep in trees, lights and gingerbread, they still found time to discuss their wrapping skills, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, the virtues of a gift bag, favorite stocking stuffers, Trader Joe’s three buck chuck and Charles Shaw. They also share the results of Juicy People from the last episode (Stacy won hands down). While talking cereal, they recall the halcyon days of mascots, commercials, and free toys.
