Comparison has always been my biggest flaw and simultaneously my biggest insecurity. I let it control my thoughts, actions, mood… it’s a horrible cycle with no clear ending. I discuss how I let this bother me, and how I am working on fixing it. I share stories from my 9-5 life and why summer is so hard to enjoy. This episode nearly marks one year of the Twisty Pod, so I want to extend my utmost love to everyone who has been a part of this twisty journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me share a bit of my life with you, and thank you for opening up your heart to me. I love you.

A moment (and hopefully, a lifetime) for body acceptance and positivity, denim on denim on denim, keratosis pilaris, bathing suits hauls, and much, much more. I share openly about my journey to loving my skin and also take the soapbox to declare why we should never feel unconfident trying on bathing suits. This episode is honest and raw and dives into topics I haven't publicly shared, but highlights the importance of loving who we are, as we are, and becoming our own biggest cheerleader.

The popularization of microtrends, fast fashion, influencer culture, and social media has created a world filled with scary overconsumption habits. How can we manage the ever-growing need to adhere to Planet Earth's livelihood while also having a real conversation about our own habits and their greater impact? Noureen Shallwan's project "The Get Wasted Challenge" explains all of this from an honest perspective and helps break down the importance of our consumption with respect to fashion, beauty, travel, health, fitness, and more.

It is always (bold, highlight, underscore, italicize) important to love and take care of your body - but right now truly feels more pressing than ever. Surely I can't be alone in this--oh that's right because I've never had an original thought ever (it's a joke I swear). I'm here to remind you of a little something I like to call the power of the body, how amazing and beautiful it truly is (I'm oozing with gouda here), and putting my foot down on comparative culture.
The minute I realized I cannot derive my self-worth or self-love from the workouts I do or the challenges I try was the minute my journey to a healthy lifestyle actually began.
