Anthony Todt (also BTW Todt means 'dead' in German, which they weren't allowed to mention at the trial) murdered his family in a house he had stopped paying rent on - and he stayed for days with their dead bodies. That's most of the story, but hear the details in part 2 of Episode 3!

Thousands died in the pumice, the fires, and most of all, the Tsunamis that ravaged the islands while the world waited for news in horror.

It's not a fairy tale - but she seems pretty fearless and obviously special to have captured our hearts for so long.
