In this episode we discuss the past two games that occurred since last recording. The Nashville game gave us little to go over in the 1-0 loss but the Red Bulls 1-1 tie gave plenty of points to discuss, from Matt Freese to potentially a new Ilsinho? A very strange but entertaining 3-3 game in Chicago left us a bit disappointed in the result but it wasn't all bad. Quinn Sullivan stole the night with his incredible bike goal and we discuss the ups and downs of the game. In the second half, we focus on the youth in talking about MLS Next Cup, Cavan Sullivan, and brother power rankings. After going down to DC and picking up three points, we talk about the less than dominant performance from the Union. Even though the goal was good, there is an expected VAR rant from AJ along with us going over some of what we were disappointed in from the game. After what feels like games every other day for the Union, we are back with one of our longest episodes we've ever done (for better or for worse). We discussed the last three games and the seven points we got from them, the performances we saw that were both good and bad, and where we stand now with some grading so far. Another two games for us to discuss but all that really mattered was that the Union advanced to Champions League semifinals. The NYCFC game was a wash due to the stupid Martinez red card BUT the Union get the job done against Atlanta and we share our takes from the games and how proud we are of Jim Curtin. The second half of the episode gets silly as we discuss refocusing back on MLS and why stupid reasons why Union fans might start protesting. We end with an in-depth preview of Chicago Fire.
