Amazing Series!!
What did you love best about Contamination: Sanctuary, Book 6?
As with all the books in the Contamination Series, I love the way the book is written and how well the characters are developed. The characters, as well as the story, is amazing.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes! I didn't want to stop listening to the book because I wanted to know what was going to happen!
What does Troy Duran bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
I don't have much time to just sit and read, but the narrator does an amazing job with each character by bringing them to life.
Good story with likable characters
Dan, John, Meredith, and Quinn decide its time to leave the farmhouse to search for safer surroundings. Spotting a helicopter in the distance they believe the military may have a camp near a town called Abbottsville. Off they go to check it out. They pick up another survivor along the way. Little do they know they have invited a dangerous psychotic into their midst named Tim. The tale continues as they move on, discovering and then dealing with Tim. As were the prior volumes, good story with interesting and likable characters.
Good conclusion to the series
This is the latest (possibly the final?) book in the Contamination series, and one that ties up many of the loose ends from the Dan, Quinn, Meredith, and John story arc from previous books. The book could be read in isolation but reading the other stories in the story arc or even the series sets it up for the ending (0-3 and 4 for this story arc).
The book starts off slow with the characters hiding out in a house but it soon starts to heat up when a newcomer joins the group. The adventure sees the group attempting to travel to a nearby town where they believe they can be helped.
The story evolves with plenty of twists and turns from internally within the group, and externally. It's a good change for the series to see the first truly evil character. I quite enjoyed the story of the newcomer, and his background. It brings a new spin on the series. But I must warn you he's not saint but his character is portrayed rather well.
The narrator does a fine job with each of the voices and I will look to more of his books in the future. A good read for the end of a great series.
Great conclusion to series
I really enjoyed Piperbrook's Contamination survival series. The finale was very entertaining and fulfilling. It was filled will a lot of action and suspense like the rest of the series. I am looking forward to reading more of his books in the future.
Simple easy listening
Think the author must have read my review about plot holes because he was very clear about them this time, which was pretty good because I had forgotten about things between the books.
Storyline in this book isn't very complicated with few surprises but enough to be engaging. Pity the stories are so short though.
