Yes. I have read the Legend series in Kindle version and love this series. It is even better listening to it.

The whole book is written so beautifully. I enjoyed listening to every minute.

Claudy Conn is one of my absolute favorite authors. I was excited to hear she was putting her books on audio since I love listening to books now. Her writing is beautiful and hearing her books come to life is an awesome experience.

Full of action, romance and perfect pacing

What made the experience of listening to Prince in the Mist the most enjoyable?

This novella contains a unique, historic feel that Claudy achieves through her detailed writing and knowledge of the era. She has created characters that flow amazingly well with the story - bad boy Breslyn in particular is impossible not to love. Chartelle too was everything you want in a heroine; gentle and beautiful yet strong enough to know what she wants. Their relationship is spicy, passionate and a delight to read, with Storm and Alexis providing even more romance on the side.

If romance isn't enough for you, I promise you'll experience enough magic, mystery and betrayal to keep you satisfied, all blended with fabulous writing into a tale you won't be able to stop listening to.

Claudy has managed to pack years of events into a quick, fast paced read without ever making the reader feel lost or rushed in any way. Even the supporting characters are impressively well-rounded and interesting.

Prince in the Mist is a great insight into characters that will appear later on in the series, but is still vastly enjoyable to read regardless of whether or not you will continue with the books.

What other book might you compare Prince in the Mist to and why?

It truly is unlike anything I've ever read before. It can, of course, be compared to the rest of the Legend series for which this novella is a companion. If you enjoyed this book, what better than to carry on with the rest?

What about Anthony Gorings performance did you like?

His subtle accent complimented the Scottish feel of this story. His acting made the whole novella more immersing - he definitely did the book justice, and I listened to the whole thing in one go without ever developing any issues (some voice-actors can become awfully dull after a while, but I did not find this with Anthony).

Surprisingly good.

I was expecting generic plot lines and very little originality but I'm happy to say the story kept me entertained. I didn't look for every opportunity to listen to the book but I did find it difficult to put down at times. The author did a good job of keeping me interested. It isn't a 5 star book but I think it is worth looking into.

If you enjoy Deborah Harkness then you will like this book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

(This my husband's account, he bought the book for me. So the opinions are mine, not his.)The narrator had very few changes in her voice for the characters, it's like she was just reading it straight out of the book. Having heard very good narrators, when you listen to one that is just "phoning it in" it's such as disappointment.

What could Teresa Federici have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Unfortunately, this author seems to be trying to make this into a "Discovery of Witches" which has already been done, and done well.

Gwen who is recently divorced for let than 6 months from a abusive relationship for over 10 years is now out on the prowl seeking some companionship with no strings attached. She seek a service that provides her with a a one night stand that consists of two lovers. If you're going to do it why not go for the full experience, right? She plans for the event to take place a day before her birthday and on the eve oft her ex-husbands wedding to his new wife. Ironically they all meet up at the same hotel. Her friend Cindy accompany her to make sure that she's okay. She wants to put her abusive EX behind her and this little fling is just want she thinks she needs.

Yong and Tatsu twins and on there way to a date. They have a secret they are keeping and know that it will end with one of the 2 dying. The brother to die will die, so the other may live. But maybe there is a way to fix what is going on. The need to find the special woman who may fix the problem, has been a hard and long road and they are hoping Gwen is it. This was a hot menage. 2 men that hold a secret and need the help of a special woman. A woman who has been through hell. Her husband a abusive bastard, is finally moving on, or she thinks he has. With an EX who is still trying to put himself in the picture, in a very bad way, it makes a 1st date uncomfortable. It was a very good read. I loved the story line and felt very bad Gwen. With the help of two sexy men, she may just come out ahead.

Loved Double Dragon Seduction. The story is engaging and moved fast. Gewen, Tatsu and Yong were fun. I hope to see them again.

I loved this short novella about an abused divorced woman who discovers her inner dragoness. Hot sex scene. My only complaint was that it was way too short for the money I paid.

What I liked best are the Characters,Ewan,Deliah,Gunn and the love triangle that they find themselves in. The Berserker's of legend and the location the story takes place in ,which is glorious Scotland.

Waking Dream has Sara meeting another dream walker, a woman in red, who has shady intentions in her husband Brian's dream. Sara finds out that the things that happen in the Dream world happen in real life. This is a thrill ride of a book.

I am absolutely addicted to this series. this story started off with a young couple, the female lead is able to dream walk. following through the series we get to see their family grow and also her solve several crimes and fill in the blanks for other mysteries. this series is completely addictive and does need to be read in order. you truly do get attached to Sarah, the lead. the only thing I struggle with is how each story jumps several years in between. I think the ending of this story was extremely sweet and much needed.

Waking Dream is the fifth book in the Dream Series. I listened to the first two books, Dream Student and Dream Doctor, and they were okay but I liked the third book, Dream Child, the most. The fourth book, Dream Family, was my least favorite of the series because Sara, the main character, was so pitiful rather than her usual strong self. Since I feel like I know Sara and her family by now, I was still looking forward to reading the next book.

A lot of what happens in these books is about family. Theyre able to get through anything by sticking together and supporting each other. There are still times that Sara drives me crazy when she gets melodramatic, but this is still a good story.

Waking Dream contains a lot of drama and mystery. Someone is invading the dreams of Saras husband, Brian, and she needs to find out who it is and why this woman in red keeps showing up. And when someone that Brian works with commits suicide, Sara knows that the woman in red has something to do it and she feels like she has to find her before she hurts someone else.

This is the first narrator of these books that I like. She has a good speaking voice with good timing.

I recommend Waking Dream and Im looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Great Book

I love the concept of the story. What happens in your dreams can hurt you or someone else. It's a very interesting subject. This is the fifth book in the series, but you can catch up quite quickly if this is the only book you read.

A pleasant surprise.

When a deadly pandemic sweeps the world, Glory succumbs to it. Her mother though is a scientist and injects the last of the cure into her. She gets better but her mother tells her she has to run, she has to find the other scientists her mother worked with. They have gone into hiding because someone is after them. Someone doesn't want the sure for the plague to become common knowledge and will do anything they can to stop it. Glory sees her mother being kidnapped and ends up running so that she doesn't get caught or killed. Her mother told her that a priest will help her so now Glory has to get there without been seen.

Glory meets the priest and is assigned 3 supernatural guardians. Can a vampire, angel and witch help save Glory and the world?

This was such a surprise. The cover and blurb doesn't really give much away so I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading it. Well I'm so glad to say that I really enjoyed it.

Glory is an average teenager until her world is turned upside down. The plague is sweeping the world and everyone who contracts it dies. People are dying left and right and when her dad comes down with it she is devastated. Next thing Glory knows is that she is sick, she knows that her chance of survival is nill so when she eventually wakes up she is confused. Her mother tells her that she had to give her the last of the cure. From that second on, Glorys life is not her own. She ends up on the run with beings she didn't know existed and her dog, whom she never really took much notice of. Glory was an awesome heroine. She questions everything and has her, whoa is me, moments but still does whats needed of her. She is only 17 and is thrust into things she hasn't a clue how to handle, but handle them she does. She is strong, determined and an overall average girl!

The author brings 3 different supernatural beings to be Glorys Guardians and I really loved that element. Where else would you read about an Angel, a Witch and a Vampire working together to save humanity!! I loved the lore she through in as well. Never have I read a book with so much in it that works so well together. Apart from the supernatural element, we also have the religious element and demonic elements as well. It was fascinating.

Overall Glory was a pleasant surprise. It's a thrilling, fascinating and fantastical read. The book is centered on Glorys journey but each of the other characters have a bit of their story told. Glorys dog also stole some of the story, Hallelujah was awesome!! This book has a bot of everything in it to satisfy everyone. The author weaved such an amazing and somewhat realistic story that I flew through the pages.
