Someone PLEASE tell me the next one is coming soon
If you could sum up Fall of Darkness in three words, what would they be?
    Sweeping and epic!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Kate was my favorite character. She was a strong woman, who never let the fact that she was orphaned at a young age, or that her future turned out to be much different than she expected be an excuse to give into whining and self-pity, though there are a few times where she probably could be forgiven for doing so. Also, Kate is a woman of strong convictions, and she remains steadfast and dedicated to those convictions, even when an easier path presents itself. In a literary world of whiny, wishy-washy female leads, Elle Bright's Kate is a breath of fresh air!
What about Kathleen Mary Carthys performance did you like?
Kathleen Mary Carthy was EXCELLENT! She made the men sound like men, and the women sound like women. She has a true story teller's voice.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I could have, I would have listened to this in one go. As it was, I listened to Fall of Darkness when I got ready for work and driving to work at 4 a.m., and every time I had to turn it off, I wished I could keep listening!
    Any additional comments?
If Kathleen Mary Carthy keeps reading Elle's words, I'm going to keep listening!
LOVED the story and LOVED the voice
What did you love best about Fall of Darkness?
I don't really need all fifteen words for this. Without a question, I LOVED Dominic!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Fall of Darkness?
When Dominic and Kate come face to face again for the first time after being apart
    Which scene was your favorite?
I liked the fight scene in the werewolf club. It had great tension between the hero and his brother and gave great insight into the werewolf dynamics.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
All of the above. There were times it made me laugh and cry and other where I wanted to throw it across the room
    Boring and NO Dialogue.
This book was boring and there was no dialogue. I cant stand a book where there is no dialogue unless its a fantastic story and this was not a fantastic story.
Narration wasn't the best either. Need to listen on 1.25 speed for sure.

    Don't bother
What did you like about this audiobook?
The narrator was just bad. You can hardly listen to anything if
The person speaking is monotone, and cannot get into the characters.
    Bad.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
Only if this narrator was not speaking. And depends on the story.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
    Almost anyone else.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
I'm not Sure I could not get through the first chapter
Do you have any additional comments?

    WHAT A NICE SURPRISE
School Teacher Jessica was only out for a one night stand so her all alpha brothers were giving her the house to herself for that very reason and when she met tall, dark, handsome and very sexy Tyee she thought her dreams had come true and it didn't take them long before there was a 'clothes off' frenzy.
However, Alpha lone-wolf Tyee was so much more - a werewolf shifter without a pack and he knew he had finally found his true mate in Jessica but when her brothers returned early he was surprised and then in for a shock too as he knew one of them. This put a halt to his ideas of furthering their romance, or so he thought but, as things took a dramatic life altering change for them both, things also took a deadly turn when an evil nest of Vampires, run by a Goddess, had plans to take over the world.... starting with their little town.
This was a very enjoyable, captivating, sexy, fast-paced listen with secrets, surprises, intrigue and had some great characters that drew me in then, as the storyline unfolded, I became totally invested in the whole family's fight for a HEA ending.
Worth a credit? Although this is actually book 4 of Sons Of Midnight series it is easily a stand-alone listen as books 1-3 are about Vampires which I hope Audible will get soon. Hopefully, if you like a sexy PNR, then you'll agree that this is a definite credit-worthy listen and I'll be pleading with Audible for more of Theresa Meyers books.

Good Book. Give it a try.
Let the Wild Out by Madelyn Porter
    ***Contains M/F/M relationships***
Your going to want to read this book! The story is full of humor, love, action, hot sexy male shifters, intrigue, magic and a murder plot. What more could you want?
The main characters are Rachel,William and Douglas. Rachel is a very rare shifter an Omni giving her the ability to shift into 3 different animals. It also leaves her vulnerable to people wanting her because of her abilities. So she hides away in a mountain sanctuary. Then we have William who is a clan chief and wolf shifter and Douglas the clan chief of the panthers. To prevent a war from brewing between their two different clans, William and Douglas are required to mate/marry the same woman thus making her their queen.
I loved the chemistry between all 3 of them. It was funny how they would handle who gets to be with her and when. The action/danger they faced was interesting and keeps you glued to the book. The sex was just the right amount of hot. The entire story is well written and flows at a good pace. I hope there is a book 2 that continues their story.
I recommend this book to all paranormal romance readers!!!

    Fun and Wild!
I was immensely pleased to find this book in audio. I had previously read the book and forgotten about it until a little ways into the audio. I really enjoyed Let the Wild Out. And Rebecca Cook did a fabulous job with the narrations. I especially enjoyed when towards the end there is a bit where Rachel throws out a line in a mans voice. Rebecca nailed it.
Rachel is a shifter in Colorado that is discovered by the Clan Chiefs from England and Scotland. After attempts on the clan chiefs lives, they take Rachel with them back to England. But the threats dont stop there. Rachel continues to find herself in harms way around Dougal and William. There are a lot of petty shifter politics and old ways that they all must navigate around.
During all of the chaos Rachel discovers that the chiefs need a single bride to share. They are fairly sure they want her. Can she except their desire? She wants them but doesnt want everything that goes with the job. Let the Wild Out really had me hooked. In the end, things are revealed and its not what everyone expected. Making the ending more exciting.
    wow truly hot story
What made the experience of listening to Let the Wild Out the most enjoyable?
This book is full of action, storyline, plots, twists, and bad guys or I should say girls and shifters! Great story. What's an American girl to do when two hot strong male alpha leaders set their sites on claiming her for theirs? Well? Lol your just going to have to hear for yourself.

Winchester follows Colt in this steampunk series.
This is book 2 in the series of steampunk westerns. Think Indiana jones meets cowboys and aliens and throw in a bit of Dracula and shapeshifters and demons. This series has it all. Lots of mechanical gadgets from wind up horses to airships provide transportation. The hero would prefer not to be a demon hunter and in fact gave up the profession just to be a town sheriff. But you can't escape family legacy. The heroine also has to deal with family legacy but then she's a vampire pushing 400. Thrown together due to urgent circumstance Winn and Tessa break all the rules.
    I love this series!
Winchester Jackson has been trained for one thing most of his life. To be a hunter of paranormal beings and destroy them if needed to protect the innocent. He and his brothers are considered to be "The Chosen," the prophetic brothers that are destined to prevent the arch demon, Rathe, from opening the Gates of Nyx and destroying the world. Winn has tried to leave that all behind him by becoming the sheriff of Bodie until Contessa Alexandra Porter walks into his life with an offer he can't refuse.
Alexa is on a mission to help Winn retrieve a portion of the Book of Legend that has been split into three parts before Rathe opens the Gates of Nyx. The Contessa is beautiful, sexy and extremely dangerous because she is a vampire and Winn has to suppress his instincts as a hunter to work with her. During their travels, Winn and Alexa face shape shifters, demons and other paranormal obstacles in their quest to retrieve the book. The attraction between them grows with each passing day until they begin to wonder what they will have to sacrifice for the possibility of having a life with another.
The Slayer was a great thrill-ride and I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved the aspect of Winn and Alexa working together because they had this wonderful connection with one another even though the idea of them collaborating would seem laughable to some. These two characters were exact opposites that should have been mortal enemies on sight but they were able to join forces and were surprised to discover that they weren't so different after all.

    Members Reviews:
    Outstanding
What made the experience of listening to Trancehack the most enjoyable?
The sci-fi, romance and characters are all believable. I would like see this book continued into a series.
What did you like best about this story?
Neither the romance or the sci-fi overwhelmed the characterizations. The people behaved in the context of the society. I want to know what happens to the politics. Apartheid is inherent unstable. In the midst of the politics, people did their best to be happy.
What does Emma Taylor bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
I think she makes Calla, Nate and the club owner come to life.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Happiness in the face of injustice.
    Any additional comments?
The description didn't do the story justice. I almost didn't listen to it. I'm glad I did.

    Boring
I do not understand this book what so ever. The author uses terms that the reader does not understand. I thought I just had to get further into the story and then it would get better but it only confused me more as the story continued.
What time period is this? There are villages and people carrying around swords and knives for weapons but there are buses and airplanes.
What is the purpose of the journey? Kavya wants to unite her people but how is she going to that and where the check are they headed!
And last but not least if this is supposed to be a created world, why do they have planes but they are walking in storms and through forests? What no cars?!
I found this book not only confusing but extremely boring. Give me some laughs or romance or something other than, me man you woman, kind of talk from our main characters.
Soft porn disguised as paranormal romance.
I love paranormal romances with a good dose of romance and sex and have read many, but this is just too much. The characters are flat and do not come to life, the plot is thin and a barely disguised excuse for sex that occasionally borders on rape. Did not finish this one.
    Ok Read
It is hard to review a book especially if you read alot of books they all start to blend into one another and begin to sound alike.
There is one thing I can honestly say, I do not do grammer or spelling checks as I am more interested in the plot of the book. I want to be entertained that is my priority. Did this book entertain me? Yes. Will I reread it? No. Do I recommend it? I can only say is that I liked it. Besides, we all look for different things in a book...
    Story line
I loved the story in the first two books, but this one seems to be based more on sex then Tallis history showing more of how he got here. In this story it reads more of in the here and now then the previous ones. i'm half way through and haven't a clue as to where exactly this is going , knowing what the other two stories were this book doesn't seem to really be apart of the first to stories. A little disappointed
    The Dragon Kings
Blood Warrior book two of the Dragon Kings by Linsey Piper is a good read. I liked this writter and her stories and unusal and she has you thinking of a old told story in a whole new light of way of telling a story on how you think its gonna go and it goes in a completely different direction. Love it.

    Good ending
Book three in this fun series was better than the first two. I read them all in one setting and enjoyed the ride. Looking forward to reading more from Ms. Knox!
    A great series!
A great series, love it!!! Read all three books. A crazy world, great characters, lovely writing. I am looking forward to more books by this author.
    Want more!
Agamemnon Frost and the Crown of Towers completes the 3 novella series with a satisfying ending to one of the most unique books I have read all year. Part science fiction, part fantasy, part steampunk, part Victorian historical, and with a male-male pairing, this really is a very distinct yet well written series. And it was also pure fun with a great romance!
Kim Knox is known for her erotic fiction and we see that finally in this third book - the development of Mason and Frost's relationship as they rush to save the Earth from the 'Martian' invaders. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but there are even more fantastical and fascinating concepts in book 3 as the boys rush to confront and defeat Panderus. Honestly, there are so many interesting science fictiony type of terms being thrown around that I almost was distracted away from the heart of the book and the romance at the heart. For that reason, though, this was a very satisfying read. Lots of adventure, interesting and new situations, and then the growing attractions and complications of the main characters' feelings for each other.
I'm not typically a fan of Novellas but these were all a good length with a definite arc leading up to the conclusion. If I mark this four stars instead of five, it's only because the writing might be a bit too sparse on the segues and could be filled in a bit more. But don't take that as too much of a detraction - this is a solid 4-1/2 star read for me and I loved every page.
I'm greatly looking forward to Kim Knox's next series!
Received as an ARC from the publisher.
Satisfying End to a Good Sci-Fi Steampunk Romance Trilogy
This series just got better and better with each installment saving the best for last. Kim Knox has a strong grasp at writing a strong story arc and pacing the tension in her story development. This is what a final book in a series should look like.
I'll stop here to quickly point out that these books are very connected and have to be read in order.

    Editorial Reviews:
The eighth book of the enthralling Sazi series, Serpent Moon picks up with Holly Sanchez and Eric Thompson. Filled with thrilling plot twists and steamy romantic encounters, Serpent Moon ranks amongst the best books of C. T. Adams and Kathy Clamps' Sazi chronicles. Adam Epstein reprises his role as voice performer with aplomb. It's incredible the way he is able to one moment convey the macho instinct of a werewolf and the next convey intimate feelings of loss and loneliness. Exciting and humorous, Serpent Moon is not to be missed.

    Horrible Narration and Mediocre Story
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I have to say this is the WORST reader/performance I have EVER experienced with Audible and there have been a couple of others I thought were bad. This book dragged forever - the story had a lot of potential but never made it there. The narrator's performance seemed like it had a cadence set to a metronome with little actual inflection or emotion. Waste of a credit for sure!
What could Dana Michelle Burnett have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Get to the point already. If a book is going to be this short, the action should not all take place in the last 25 minutes. Good potential story line but never got off the starting blocks.
What didnt you like about S.A. Archers performance?

What character would you cut from Once?
The sister was pretty much undeveloped and not really sure how necessary she was.
    Any additional comments?
Just simply disappointed and will avoid any book with S. A. Archer's reading.

Valora Delos is a hunter, charged with tracking the treacherous Soulstealers and bringing them to justice. Unlike the other fae of her kind, Valora was born with stunted wings that render her flightless, driving her to prove herself in the eyes of King Aric - whom she has been infatuated with since she first set eyes on him as a young prince.
She descends to Earth and finds herself trapped in suburban Seattle after the portal to her world closes. With the help of a sexy half-fae named Dooley, Valora must find her way back in order to save Dell'Aria. Dooley uses his own brand of magic to help Valora discover memories buried deep within her, which only produces more questions than answers - questions about her growing attraction to Dooley and her devotion to her King.
Uncovering who the Soulstealers are and who is behind the destruction of Dell'Aria, brings Valora a truth she may not be ready to handle.

    Surprise Story
If you could sum up Fae Hunter in three words, what would they be?
I have a bad habit of putting off a book at times but once I started this story I couldn't stop listening to it. I love the relationships and friendships made in this story and the action was good. At first I thought ok how is this going to work but I have to say it turned out to be an exciting and leaving you want more story. I do look forward to the next one. I do recommend it to others.
    Choppy Narration
This story was not bad, but the cadence of the narration was so choppy it was difficult to listen to.
    Narration is just aweful
The story was great but the narrators inflections and pauses are almost unbearable. For example "Damn it! Get down everyone" is read like "Damn it get down (pause) everyone". As much as I enjoyed the story, the narrator really ruined it. Not worth the credit, buy the $1.99 kindle instead.
    Nice!
What made the experience of listening to Fae Hunter the most enjoyable?
I really enjoyed the unknown! The story was different than any other Fae book I've read. So it was a mystery.
Would you listen to another book narrated by S. A. Archer?
    Yes
    Any additional comments?
Loved this book! Can't wait for the 2nd!
    Action & Romance
    Any additional comments?
Nicolette Reed did a great job with this story! I found myself drawn in so much that I could not stop listening! I love a good action packed scene in the beginning and you sure do get one with this story. Nicolette Reed builds the scenes for you so well that you feel like you are walking with Valora (I am dying to find out what an ice fruit tastes like). Overall I feel that this is a great action adventure story with a compelling romance (added bonus sexy scenes!) and if this is your genre or even if it's not and you feel like giving something new a try, then you should check this story out.
