With a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and over eight years of experience at South Dakota State University, Dr. Cortus specializes in sustainable animal agriculture systems. Her work includes evaluating manure management practices and improving livestock environments for swine, poultry, dairy, and beef systems.
