Dr. Franklin C. Annis returns to explore how the focus on violence in the foundational culture of the military separates them from the rest of American culture and the importance of finding common ground as a society. Dr. Franklin C. Annis holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) from Northcentral University. For almost a decade, he has been researching Army education theory concerning the Army Leader Development Model (ALDM). He is conducting research on improving the concept of Army Self-Development through improving the definition and suggesting practical self-development techniques.

Dr. Annis is a veteran of Operational Iraqi Freedom having served as the 2nd Platoon Leader of the 313th Medical Company (Ground Ambulance) during OIF 9-11.
