On December 4th at the Winter Meetings the Contemporary Era Committee will vote on which if any of the eight finalists will make the Hall of Fame - I make my case for two superstars with unimpeachable statistical cases.

Tamer's background is in music - I love music too, and we both love sports cards - we draw on some of the similarities and structures common to both - thanks Tamer.

Val Marz and Logan Ward had me on as a guest on their Nascard Radio show last month and their racing-centric hobby approach led to some new questions which I appreciated - and enjoyed - thanks.

I give a shout out to my brother who has a Thanksgiving birthday and had a place in my hobby journey - plus an important announcement about the future of this podcast.

The final part of my conversation with Jade involved analytics of recent rookies and the wisdom to know when to sell promising but unproven rookies.

Kyrie and Twitter have both been front page news lately - they are connected in that Twitter "says" Kyrie is the most hated player in the NBA - how does that negativity affect his card values and card sales?

Last Saturday's Hobby Hotline is worth checking out in its entirety, but here is a snippet about autographed cards I hope you enjoy - if you have questions or comments, you can send them to [email protected] and thanks.

Hobby Hotline with Danny Black, Sports Balt and Adam Palmer, Heros for Sale - we launched into a discussion of the true current and future value of Pujols' milestone home run ball.

Stephan and Angela were here on a Saturday along with Rich Klein and we had a fun afternoon of looking at and sorting cards and recording a couple of podcasts - thanks!

Tamer has his own channel and had accumulated lots of interesting hobby questions for me for this simulcast - I appreciated his thoughtful approach and hope you do too.  Thanks Tamer.
