Dr. Caldas got her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the Agrarian University in Peru and a Ph.D. in broiler and breeder nutrition at the University of Arkansas, in 2015. After finishing her studies, Justina was hired by Cobb-Vantress, one of only two meat-type chicken breeding companies in the world.
