This amazing study demonstrates the influence of plant-based (high-fiber) and/or fermented food diets on our immune system. Researchers found that fermented foods like yogurt, kimchi, and kombucha caused a reduction of 19 cytokines including IL-6, IL-12b, and IL-10. This reduction may potentially lead to reduction in chronic inflammation. Let's review this study.
