There is a necessary packing away of dreams in one's life that - if done with love and acceptance, can make space for new ways of being in the world.
Because it is our un-lived lives that hurt our loved ones the most - not the ones we are living in right now.
When we are truly present with who we are, what we have, and where we are right now - we are in our greatest power. And that strength doesn't only benefit us on an emotional level, it reaches right down into our cells and changes how we fundamentally carry ourselves through this life.
Most parents know what this feels like - to offer a dream back to the earth that was made long ago and for single-occupancy. But remember there is no loss in anything that is given away in reverence of Love.
Questions you might like to ask yourself:
These images are of a place I have dreamt about my whole pre-motherhood life. An isolated, self-sustaining permaculture home where I would spend the seasons tending to myself through the land.
But right now, if I were handed that life - I wouldn’t take it. Because right now, I need to switch hemispheres to be with my family. No amount of calendula. echinacea and thyme can compensate for time with loved ones. And in clearing out this dream for now, I will make space for a new kind of inhabitance; the one where I keeping tending to the home within myself and allow a for a new dream to be given life.
May your dreams be given clarity through the inclusion of loved ones.
