Parent Talk: Is it possible for a child to get too much from Santa?
This morning on Dublin Talks Parent Talk we spoke to child Psychotherapist, Joanna Fortune, about some of the issues affecting of our listeners.
Raising kids can be tough, so it's always good to have expert advice when you need it.
Today's topics:
Is it possible for a child to get too much from Santa? Our son is 3 so this is his first proper Christmas where he understands what’s going on. He’s asking for lots of stuff. Like 10 different things. My husband wants to go “all out” because he says he never got what he wanted as a child. He can't see the harm in this. Where does your expert sit on this topic?
Hi there. Can you ask your expert about this please. I returned to work last week after working from home since March and my two year old is not taking it well. He’s been so used to having my around for the last 9 months. My mother is minding him but she’s texting me in work every day to say that he is so upset. Can you ask Joanna how long this will last for? It’s very difficult sitting in the office knowing that he is upset and stressed at home.
