Still waiting for the final results to come in, Julie & Brandy verbally annihilate Iowa, rip Mitch McConnell a new a**hole over the Senate Impeachment Hearing, and then sentence Alan Dershowitz to a fate worse than death. It sounds good on paper, but like the Iowa caucus, this episode is tardy for the party, and everyone left early.

Mercury wasn't in retrograde and the moon wasn't full, but the sh*t really hit the fan this week. First, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren got in a friend fight at the democratic debate last Tuesday and then the impeachment rhetoric ramped up to an all time high on Wednesday when Rachel Maddow interviewed the man at the center of all the controversy, Lev Parnas. On Friday, Ted Lieu tweeted the clapback heard round the world and Mike Pence wrote an obnoxious op-ed in the Wall Street Journal that drove comedian Brad Loekle to leave him a rage-filled voicemail. Listen at your own risk and make sure you have an ice-cold beverage nearby, because it was one hell of a salty ass week!

It's the first week of 2020, and America started the new year off with a bang. Literally. In an impulsive (and seemingly irrational) move, Donald Trump called for the assassination of Iran's TOP general, sparking a conflict that (by all predictions) looks to blossom into a full blown war with the Middle East. Again. While the prospect of war is depressing at best, and absolutely terrifying at worst, Julie & Brandy refuse to let it dampen their MONEY20 enthusiasm. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi had an iconic week and Julie & Brandy are all the way here for it, gurr! First, she made the announcement that she is instructing the House to move forward with the articles of impeachment, and THEN she clap-backed at a disgraced reporter who asked her if she "hated Trump." Joe Biden had a clap-back of his own, and the girls waste no time in celebrating that too. The celebration hits a sour note when they talk about Senator Kamala Harris dropping out of the 2020 Presidential race, but they decide to see the glass as half-full by imagining the moment when she becomes the nation's first female Vice President. Their positive outlook continues in a 'So There's That' starring (none other than) Linda Rondstadt, because if loving Linda Rondstadt is wrong- Julie & Brandy don't want to be right. (And they rarely are anyway).
