Working with family is great, until it isn’t. It’s almost impossible to have a real leader in that situation. Being the leader means having the courage to say what needs to be said even when it’s uncomfortable, and also having the courage to make, and stand by decisions that they make. You need to be able to take all the criticism that comes with being the leader.
