E20 - My dear friend Lesley James shares her journey with living with invisible illnesses. Lesley and I met many years ago at a Canadian Addison's Society meeting in Southern Ontario. She is a radiant soul who has taken her diagnosis with multiple invisible illnesses, her pain from the grief of loss and found purpose in her pain.
Her story is inspirational.
The Pickle Jar would like to dedicate this episode to Harold Smith. Harold passed away this week and was the leader of the Canadian Addison Society in Southern Ontario for many years. Harold and his wife Sue were advocates for us with Addison's Disease, bringing us together as a family, giving us a community of strength and giving us a voice.
Thank you Harold for your love and support for so many years. We truly appreciate you and are grateful for all you did for us. We will continue your legacy of advocating for adrenal insufficiency.
