Successful people want to help, but they need to see that their time is being used effectively and that they are making a difference. To be worth investing in, one must provide some sort of value to the other person, such as doing the things they tell you to do or making connections for them. The more successful someone is, the more willing they are to help others get there. However, busy people's time is valuable, and one cannot waste it. The only reason successful people will continue to invest their time in someone is if they see that they are making a difference and taking action on the advice given. Therefore, it is essential to take action on the advice given by successful people to achieve success.
