Peace Be With You

This Easter, RD McClenagan teaches from John 20:19–23, centering on Jesus’ resurrection as the source of true peace and reminding us that, despite the burdens and anxieties we carry, Christ meets us in our darkness and speaks, “Peace be with you.” Through the story of Mary Magdalene and the disciples, he shows how Jesus brings light, calls us by name, and offers restoration even when we are fearful, broken, or hiding. This peace is not merely the absence of trouble but the presence of wholeness, secured through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Because Christ bore sin and rose again, believers can experience lasting peace, trust that “it is all going to be okay,” and go into the world to share the hope and new life found in Him.
