Eavesdroppin'

Eavesdroppers! It’s a supernatural week! But before we investigate the ins and outs behind the world’s most mysterious UFO picture, hosts Geordie & Michelle talk random real-life stuff… Like, did you know a crucifix has been spotted on the surface of Mars? Was Jesus an alien? And why are the pair talking about 80s Japanese series Monkey? Why did Jen have a grey wig? And what’s all this about notorious lag Charles Bronson getting out of prison? Listen to find out!

Michelle then digs deep into a UFO mystery, known as the Calvine Photo… On August 4th 1990 in the Scottish highlands, two men out walking on the moors spotted a giant diamond-shaped UFO suspended in the sky. They also managed to take 6 photos of the UFO with a Harrier jet in the background, however, when they went to the media with their story and images, the story was quashed and the Ministry of Defence took the pics and negatives and the incident was buried. From spy planes to aliens, there have been theories about the Calvine photo for more than 30 years, but when a journalist uncovered one of the images in 2022, the internet went wild. Is it an alien craft? Is it a secret US spy plane called Aurora? What happened to the pair who took the photos? Who is Kevin Russell? Is BAE Systems involved? You need to listen to find out! All this and more on Eavesdroppin’!

We hope you enjoy this week’s episode and remember, wherever you are, whatever you do, just keep Eavesdroppin’!

Eavesdroppers! This week we’re all over two major incidents that have got the conspiracy-verse all a-titter… Yes, we’re talking about the China weather balloons that have flown into US airspace and the Ohio train derailment… Is there a connection between the two?

After a chat about Hot Postie and the power of our mail deliverers, Geordie digs deep into what’s REALLY going on with the whole China spy balloon saga and UFOs. What? UFOs? Well, turns out the US government has shot down not just what they suspect to be a Chinese spy balloon but also what sounds like a kite and 2 other UFOs… What are they? What are they doing in US airspace? Is it all just a ruse to impose sanctions on China? Has it got something to do with Taiwan? Listen in to find out!

Michelle then looks to the internet conspiracy theorists for her story on the Ohio train derailment… On 3 February 2023, a cargo train pulling 20 cars of toxic chemicals derailed outside of East Palestine in Ohio. It’s bad. Real bad. People are getting sick. Fish and wildlife are dying. And the conspiracy-verse reckon the Chinese air balloon shootdowns are to deflect attention away from how bad the chemical spill REALLY is. Michelle then looks at Erin Brockovich and Karen Silkwood, two real-life whistleblowers caught up in past real-life chemical cover-ups.

We hope you enjoy this week’s episode and remember, wherever you are, whatever you do, just keep Eavesdroppin’!

Filth is a virtue! If you’re a member of Aum Shinrikyo, you’ll know this already and this, dear Eavesdroppers, is just a small taste of what we’re talking about this week on Eavesdroppin’, when hosts Geordie & Michelle investigate the weird world of two cults…

At the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, a documentary called AUM: The Cult At The End of The World shocked viewers with its doomsday prophesies and culty behaviours. This week, Michelle digs into the cult and its leader, Shoko Asahara to uncover what happened in the lead up to the 1995 nerve gas attacks on the Tokyo subway and beyond, including a disturbing story of homemade nukes detonated in the Western Australian outback…

Geordie then looks at an extremist branch of Judaism called Lev Tahor. With claims of child sex abuse, teen marriages, women forced to wear head-to-toe cloaks from the age of 3 and extreme punishments, Geordie asks the question: is it an extreme religion or a cult? With accounts from an ex member called Yisrael and a look at what Lev Tahor stands for, it’s up to you to decide…

Do you think your spirit inhabits a new body after you die? This week, Eavesdroppin’ hosts Geordie & Michelle talk all about reincarnation… But first, Michelle talks about a photo that’s gone viral of a girl who is the spitting image of Greta Thunberg! Is she a time traveler from 1898 here to save the planet? Or does she just have one of those faces…

Geordie then dives into the ins and outs of how to become a living goddess… As in the Nepalese child deities, the Kumari Devi. What does it take to become a Kumari? How long do you stay a living goddess? And what happens to these girls after their feet literally touch the ground and they become mere mortals again? Listen now to find out!

Michelle then talks about reincarnation and a 10-stage theory of what happens to us after we die that will blow your mind. She then discusses some real-life reincarnation stories from children who freaked their parents out by telling them they died in 9/11. You gotta listen!

We hope you enjoy this week’s episode and remember, wherever you are, whatever you do, just keep Eavesdroppin’!

Good vibes only, Eavesdroppers! That’s what this podcast is all about… or is it? This week, hosts Geordie & Michelle look at two very different types of mysteries. But first, is Michelle an empath? Would you have dinner with con-woman Anna Delvey? And who is Hot Postie? All this before Michelle kicks off the episode with a true-crime mystery…

In November 2016, Australian teenager Zac Barnes went off to work, had a weekend out with mates and was meant to be home for Sunday lunch with his family. He never arrived. Michelle looks at Zac’s last known movements and what might have happened… Tune in to hear this mysterious cold case that still has Australia confused…

Geordie rounds off the episode with a story from BK Harvey set in the outback of Australia… Was it a hallucination? Was it slip of the eye? Or was it… a yowie? What is a yowie? Is it like an Aussie outback Big Foot? Or is it another race of people… Plus we talk about a mythical creature that turned out to be real… Listen in to make up your own mind…

Hello Eavesdroppers! It’s not a weather report… It’s your fave podcast for all things real life, true crime and supernatural. This week, we’re looking at ghostly tales but not before your hosts Geordie & Michelle ramble about hot postie, Canberra Kids Running Wild by Davor P and a confession about Ben Mendlesohn!

Michelle kicks off with an article she found about an 88 year old French man with something rather unsavoury stuck up his bottom before a shart art to Neil the Scientist and a discussion about a man whose brain activity before, during and after he died. What does this tell us about near death experiences? You’ll have to listen to find out!

Geordie discusses the ghosty apparitions of Tilba Tilba before launching into a deep dive into Australia’s most haunted homestead: Monte Cristo in Junee, and telling Michelle how to kill a chicken. Michelle rounds off the episode with two doggy ghost stories: one where a ghost is supposedly caught on camera walking a family’s dog through their kitchen and another tale of a ghost who took off a dog’s collar! Real? Hoax? You decide!

We hope you enjoy this week’s episode and remember, wherever you are, whatever you do, just keep Eavesdroppin’!

Eavesdroppers! Hello! It’s a wild ride this week as Geordie talks all about an Aussie siege that left 6 dead up north in Queensland. But before that, our unpaid intern Al Teggart gets a shart art, Ben Mendlesohn shares a few words with Eavesdroppin’, Michelle talks about the UK’s most commonly held beliefs about the supernatural as well as a 10-year ghost ship mystery solved!

Which area in the UK thinks they’re the most spiritual? Which country believes most in big foot? And what’s the number-one supernatural belief in the UK? You gotta listen to find out! Plus Geordie & Michelle chat about Prince Harry, Elvis and a ghost yacht that was found in the Bermuda Triangle 10 years after it reportedly sank. Luck or aliens? You decide!

Geordie then discusses twisty turny case of Nathaniel and Gareth Train. On the 12th of December 2022, Queensland police in Australia were called to a remote rural property in Wieambilla to investigate a sighting of a missing person. What happened next was a bloodbath.
