Education Inequality Starts Outside The Classroom

Studies show that students at high-achieving schools aren’t learning more than students at low-achieving schools, suggesting that effort to close the achievement gap should focus on what can be done outside the classroom. Ohio State professor Douglas B. Downey joins guest host John McCaa to explain why academics are approaching closing equity gaps for student achievement all wrong.
