The karting season on the west coast kicked off 2019 with the opening event for Challenge of the Americas. The premier winter series on the left coast opened up its 12th season at the CalSpeed Karting facility on February 8-10 weekend. Rain hit the Fontana, California area all weekend, providing for a wet start to the three-event, six-round championship program.
