Kart racing returned to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the first time in a decade. The World Karting Association hosted the Charlotte Motor Speedway Karting Challenge on June 21-23 at the famed Concord, North Carolina facility. It was a trio of events with the Manufacturers Cup Series and National Road Racing Series utilizing the ROVAL, while the Speedway Dirt program competed inside The Dirt Track at CMS across the street.
