When Elena Hung gave birth to her second child, Xiomara, she knew her life had changed. However, what she didn’t know was that a new mission was beginning. As a child with complex medical needs, Xiomara inspired Elena to be a voice in Washington D.C. for families all around the country who need the healthcare system to work for them.

Today, Eddie and Elena talk about what it means to be the mom of a wonderful, feisty, 5-year-old and why “lobbyist” isn’t a dirty word - but an important mission to bring the needs of children in front of those with the power to help.
