As medical professionals grapple with the challenges of their field post pandemic, it is essential to prioritize self-care. I am joined by Dr. Bindu Akkanti as we discuss how medical professionals can maintain a healthy balance in their lives and sustain a successful career. This includes setting boundaries, teaching, nurturing creativity, and taking intentional breaks to recharge. Additionally, developing emotional independence and creating a micro village of mentors and supporters are essential in order to remain emotionally independent and practice humanism. By following these key concepts, medical professionals can ensure their own well-being and remain successful in the field.

Every good coach gets coached. And today, you get to meet my coach, Candice Clark. In her own words....
Candice coaches moms whose kids don't come to church so they can keep their relationship with their children and their faith. She obtained Advanced Certification in Faith-based Coaching and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her youngest child recently turned 18, so now she has 5 adult children, as well as one daughter-in-law. Her favorite thing is to experience her children enjoying each other's company. After healing a shoulder injury, she is currently contemplating becoming a fit person again.
She's one of my favorites and I can't wait for you to listen as she shares her journey to emotional independence.
