Today, Ali is talking to Ellen about addiction and infertility. Currently sober for almost four year, Ellen talks about how not being able to "drink like a normal person" became a problem, especially once she started navigating the rocky waters of infertility. Ellen talks about taking Clomid, the awkwardness of timed IUIs, getting black out drunk every night and how her husband hired a divorce lawyer, ready to end their relationship. She also talks about going to rehab, how the baby onesie she brought with her helped her get through her in-patient stay, and how, later, and thanks to IVF, she finally became pregnant with twins.
