John is a university professor and specializes in community collaboration and helping people overcome trauma. He’s led projects in six continents and 42 countries. He has also served his community as a chaplain for the Columbus Division of Police, faith leader for President Barack Obama’s mentor initiative, My Brother’s Keeper, and a host of high impact community initiatives including, 87th J.C.O.C., which is the only outreach project of the United States Department of Defense operated from the Pentagon. He has also traveled to the Syrian border to help assess and identify opportunities to support the largest humanitarian crisis in the last 50 years.
