Chelsie Lumen and her partner, Tori Lumen, are a queer and non-binary photo and video team based in New England. They started their business, Lumen Studios, five years ago. Today, they’re multi-award-winning wedding videographers with a knack for making people cry tears of joy every time they watch one of their creations. 

Today I sat down with Chelsie, and we discussed what it means to be an affirming LGBTQIA+ ally, and how this helps you attract queer clients too. We talked about inclusivity, growth, and responsibility, and she shared some stories about how she’s come up against all of this in her own life.
