Investing will test your patience. Avoid the feeling of wanting to "panic sell." The Navy Seals in their training, get taught how powerful the word "UNTIL" can be. You will fight "until" you can win or escape etc. The same concept is true for investing. It's OK to make mistakes. It's not the end of your life or the world if you mess up. You can keep investing "until" you are eventually successful and ultimately wealthy. What can you do with cash flow? Answer: anything you want. That's what makes it SO POWRFUL. So build your cash flow (your income) weekly and monthly. 

Your ultimate goal to be a successful investor is: to stay ahead of the TRUE rate of inflation. I do not consider investments unless I can earn at least 14% or MORE per year! Otherwise, it's not worth my time or my money! By staying ahead of the TRUE rate of inflation, you "outrun" the cash debasement that money printing causes. Each time money is "printed" your PURCHASING POWER decreases of ALL the money you have saved/invested. So the interest rate you earn on your money is EXTREMELY important. 

Stabilize your portfolio with LESS risky assets that have little to no share price erosion. That does not mean you totally avoid high yield/HIGH risk assets like MSTY or ULTY. They have a place in your portfolio. But they should not be your ENTIRE portfolio. You have to balance your portfolio with assets like SPYI and QQQI and CLM etc. 

I utilize what I call "the cascading waterfall" approach to investing.
