One of the most famous UFO sightings in the history of the United States happened on March 13th, 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona. It's been one of the cases at the forefront of contemporary UFO conversations ever since. A number of bright lights, resembling a massive craft, were seen by thousands of Arizonians that night, and photographic and video evidence was collected.
Air Force pilots, retired cops, random citizens, all the way to the governor of Arizona reported seeing the lights, and retold what they saw. On this week's episode of The What If? Podcast, we dive into what may have actually happened that night. From helium fireworks, to military flares, to mile-wide alien ships, The Sweary Boys get to the bottom of The Phoenix Lights - or at least we try.
