As you may know, I’m a massive fan of A. Lange & Söhne, the watch brand based in Glashütte, Germany, and it doesn’t take long to encounter my guest’s website when doing any version of a deep dive on the brand. Alp Sever’s website, Langepedia, began as an Instagram page only to later evolve into the place to gain even more knowledge about these amazing timepieces from the state of Saxonia. Somewhat unexpectedly, in my favorite way, Alp and I go off-piste, conversationally and chat about heavy metal, public transportation, as well as tobacco and olive farming. This was a super fun episode for me, and I can promise this won’t be Alp’s only time on the show, so I hope you enjoy it.
