Ian Fritz is a former USAF Airborne Cryptologic Linguist that was a crew member on the AC-130 W. Ian's more than 3 years of language training enabled him to listen in on enemy radio transmissions and update the AC-130 crew and ground forces in real-time. Ian attended the Defense Language Institute (DLI) to learn how to fluently speak Dari and Pashto before supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command during two deployments to Afghanistan.
